Hi everyone...

Wow, it's been awhile and even though I do get the chance to lurk now and then, it feels funny posting. ;)

As most of you know, I got a job working at a shoe store back in December. I was promoted to asst mgr within a month and a half and am now working on becoming a store manager. But the better news...

I have my second interview with Petsmart Thursday afternoon. If I get the job, I will be a senior staff member at the Pets Hotel. I will be in charge (with others, of course) of feeding, medicating and playing with the dogs and cats. I don't think there is a better job for me out there. :) It also starts at $9.25 per hour. I'm only making $9 now. :)

Peej and Bailey are doing fine and they promise to make me post pictures as soon as I have a free moment to take some. :)

I know you would make a great addition to any petsmart team! I currently work as a PCS (Pet Care Specialist) at the Pets Hotel here in John's Creek Georgia. I love every moment of it! I know that our seniors are a great bunch of people and I can imagine you would make a great senior also! Lots of responsibility, but I know that our group of PCS and seniors have great relationships and A LOT of fun!

Oh, that sounds like my dream job. I do hope you get it so you can tell us all about it and the animals you meet and get to love on. I can just see P.J. and Bailey checking you out when you come home from work to see just how unfaithful you have been. I'm not really sure how the interview went. It was more of a conversation than an interview, and he used the dreaded "We have a few more interviews to do and we'll give you a call..."

I guess now all I can do is wait. :)

Oh, Dawn, I am so excited for you. Your previous post had me a bit nervous. I, like you, wasn't too encouraged by the *other interviews* aspect. But if you know me, I always prepare for the worst and then get to enjoy the best all the more. And this is the best! Of course this means in addition to all the extra time you will be devoting to work, you will have to save some to relay to us your stories from the job. Bailey loves to sniff me when I've been with another dog, but Peej will get mad and ignore me. Guess we'll all have some adjusting to do. ;)
