Job...

Just before I started at the Register, I got a phone call from a woman who's the owner of "Edible Arrangements. I had applied online for an Administrative Assistant position and she wanted to talk to me about it. I told her I had a job. She wished me luck.

Since then, I lost her name and phone number. However, I happened to be going to to work at BB&B and drove by it so I went in and asked for Cindy. The girl there said she'll be in tomorrow. I left my name and phone number and told her to emphasize to Cindy that I am VERY interested in the position and would like to talk to her about it.

Keep your paws and fingers crossed, guys! There HAD to be a reason for me losing the phone number and "happening" to drive by the place. I just hope I'm not too late.

I was too late...

BUT

I got a call from the temp agency this morning while I was waiting for my car to be fixed. They have a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG term assignement at Yale New Haven Hospital (I can take the bus, yippeeee!!) in the Radiation Therapy Clinic. The hours are 9-5, Monday through Friday and the pay is $11.50/hr. I start Monday! :D:D:D:D

I've been wanting to get into a hospital setting and this is the perfect opportunity to get my foot in the door. I have a medical background (20 years as a Paramedic) which really helps, as well as a secretarial background.
