Charlie you are absolutely stunning! I think you may be part maine coon. You look an awful lot like my childhood cat who is now 16 years old. He had a rough start too (him and his sister were found on a bed of copper head snakes), but not nearly as rough as yours. I don't understand how anyone could not have wanted you and simply discarded you in such a detestable manor. I'm glad that you are happy and healthy now though. Keep on being your handsome, mischievious self and have an extra special day as our CATD.

I am also a 20 pound, 6 1/2 year old cat from Iowa! And I really HATE car trips. I can see where you might as well. Here is a picture of me with my buddy Benny. I'm the handsome orange and white fella.

Charlie... what a sweet big boy you are! I love your markings. I am sorry to hear of your rough start to life, but you sound very loved now! I hope that the love you have found in your furrever home has helped you to realize that not all hoomans are as mean as the first ones you encountered.

From your huge beautiful size, that luxurious, long, soft coat, those ears, that water loving and dog-like traits describe a Maine Coon kitty perfectly! You are the gentle giants of the feline world. P.S.: Mee000w! I overheard my purrents talking last night...such fabulous news! They are going to get a kitten for me in July. Where we live 'moving day' for apartment dwellers is July 1st. My purrents know many pets will be abandoned or brought to the CSPCA for adoption. They plan to rescue a kitten for me...am I a lucky boy, or what!!?
