It's All Binka-Nigget's Fault!

I posted this in general so everyone can see...........

I hate you Binka_nugget :mad: ;)

due to you posting pics of your opaque betta I decided I´ll go and buy one.........
everything was going nice until I went to the pet store, I entered with my mind setted on getting A betta...............I saw them and couldn´t decide so i set my mind to get ONE for each member of my family (we are 3) and this because i couldn´t pick just one........................

so after debating for almost all afternoon i ended up getting out with

FIVE BETTAS !!!!!!

now i´ll try figure out how to get nice pics since my digi doesnt has macro and the ones i took dont show their colors too nice and accurate.

P.S. i dont really hate you ;) but now you see what you have done to me :D (i´ll crosspost to Pet General also)

this one is blue but kind of steel blue (he´s the biggest)

this one is like dark royal blue and has like feathers in the fins and tail (not ripped but like uncombed, if you knoe what i mean)

LOL, you know when you hold the mouse over a topic it shows you some of it without actually opening it. I saw "I hate you binka-nugget" and I thought we were in for a PT war! :p :D

thanks for your compliments, i just couldn´t help myself and got all 5......... lets see how it goes, i still need names though......i have Rebel in mind..... and Thunder but i dont know to which ones apply them to :p

yes i´m transfering them to bigger tanks as soon as they arrive to the pet store, and plantas and stuff i wanted to give them a few time to settle but i´ve got them

i really love them!!!

i had in mind also berry names but not sure :p

you need to wait a week until a tank is settled, as there will be no good bacteria in the water & thats hard on the fish. You can speed up the process by adding special chemicals that have the bacteria in them. I use a chemical, that has the bacteria, conditioners & other good stuff in them. My fish have never been healthier :)

Mind you my fish are far larger & harder to keep & they live 10-20 years, oh did I mention they are a foot long :eek:
