All About Katie!
I thought it was time that Katie had a thread all too herself! She didn't get to go with us to visit Anna, because as most of you know, Miss Kate can be a snob with other dogs;). Other than that one little character flaw my Katie Girl is just the best! I could go on and on about her. I love my big girl so much and think she is just the sweetest thing. She really is a great dog! Yesterday Katie stayed home by herself all day and she was a very good girl. No messes of any kind at all. I'm so proud of her! I wanted some alone time with her so today Tori had to stay home while Katie and I went to the pet store. Again, I have to say I am so proud of that girl! She was so well behaved in the store. She walked beside me like a good girl while I pushed the cart. There were lots of comments about how pretty my girl was and how big she was...lol. The manager of the store knows Katie by name and always gives her lots of loving. When we were getting ready to leave a little boy stopped to pet her and shouted out..."SO AWESOME!" I have to say that I agree..lol;).

We stocked up on Katie's favorite Eagle Pack can food, plently of treats and a new stuffie. :)

Ohh, they had a doggie scale at the pet store and Katie weighed in at 85.2 pounds.

Thanks so much for posting the pics!! I enjoyed them, they made my smile! I especially love the one of Katie curled up in that chair!! Her tail looks so soft. She sounds like such a wonderful snuggle bug. Give her lots of hugs for me!! :D

I love Akitas and Katie so much we have aguywho walks one by the house every day. my goof troop just ignore them but the new kid let me know they were going by. I hadn't realise how big they and akitas are until I gotTyson.

As everyone else has said, she looks so huggable. I have always liked Akita's they are beautiful dogs, but I have never seen one who has a face as sweet as Katie does. I just love that big girl.

Robin, I absolutely love your girls but one thing worries me. It must be a constant vigil to keep an eye on them to make sure no one steals them ;) Katie is just incredibly beautiful. How do you get those fantastic pictures? She doesn't seem to mind the camera at all. If only I could see that here a little ;) Katie: you're such a doll sweetheart and so photogenic. Thanks for letting Mom get those great pics!

Good morning Miss Kate! Well I see mommy has made you your own thread (it's about time isn't it Robin;))! That's perfect for us because you are one of the most wonderful dogs around! And folks I can tell you from first hand experience that Katie is VERY huggable! She loves to be hugged and loves to give many, many Akita kisses:D

And I've got to say girl, you look so darn cute in that chair! Although I'd think you'd get a crick in your neck or a backache from sleeping that way!
I'm sorry I didn't get to see you when mommy and Tori came up here, but it sounds like you had a terrific time going to the pet store and that you got lots of goodies for being such a good girl:D

What a cutie!! It's so funny how big dogs can squeeze themselves into such little spaces and curl up into little balls!

Such beautiful pictures of Katie! She is such a wonderful dog. Her coloring is so great! And she is a sweetheart for sure! A great big sister to Tori too. I am glad she gets to go on trips alone with you since she doesn't get to go to Aunt Anna's.

Katie, I haven't seen pictures of you in a while. You are as beautiful as ever. Grizz's birthday is coming up on the 23rd. He will be 7 years old already!

Oh she looks SO happy! A special trip out with Mom all to yourself, lucky girl Katie! Your mom has every right to be proud of you sweetheart, what big beautiful girl you are and so well behaved :). As far as the little problem with other dogs.. well we all have our issues right Katie? I know I'd be thrilled to run into you at the store, and I'd be just as excited as that little boy :D.

Oh Katie, I'm late in seeing your most beautiful photo shoot, but you are a top doggy model. I'd love to put my arms around you and hug that pretty neck.
Don't worry, my Piper has an "issue" sometimes with other dogs too. (My husband says he's a big bad dog in a frou-frou bodyl) But, we would trade him for no other. :)

WooHoo a Katie thread! Robin she is just gorgeous and I can tell what a big love she is. I had to laugh at the one of her all kinked up in the chair. Bella does that too on my recliner and looks so uncomfortable. :rolleyes: I was very impressed with this picture because she is not *helping herself* to the rawhides on that bottom shelf. Can't say that Bella would have as much self-control! LOL!
