I applied for an internship in New York City for dog behavior and got accepted!!! I will be going in early October for 6 weeks :D I can't wait! I'm just going to miss my babies SOOOOOOOOO MUCH. I already cry just thinking that I'm gonna have to sleep without them for 6 whole weeks.
You'll be in my part of the country! There are lots of nice dogs in the city to keep you company but 6 weeks is a long time to be away :(. Congrats on the internship!

Before you know it your six weeks will be up and you will be home with your babies.......... OH HOW MUCH FUN YOU ARE GONNA HAVE WHILE YOU ARE THERE THOUGH!! :)

6 weeks is a long time to be away but you will have fun and it WILL fly by quickly. Think of all those SLURPY kisses and Cuddles you'll get when you get home.

Yay Aly!!! Congrats, that's a wonderful opportunity!!! I am sorry you can't bring your furkids with you but I know they will be in good hands where they are going to stay. Are they going to be staying with your mom? I don't know if you have been to NYC, but in my opinion, it's the very best city anywhere! I was there last spring (thank goodness I was able to see it before the WTC was attacked) and it was incredibly beautiful. And in Central Park there's more then enough dogs being walked to help you get your puppy-dog fix :)
I am so excited for you, Aly. I know that 6 weeks sounds like a long time, but it'll fly by and you'll be back with your furfamily in no time :)

It will be hard to leave your babies for 6 weeks, but think of how many other people's babies you'll be able to help when you get back!!!
Hey - you'll be up closer to us - we're less than 6 hours drive from NYC! But you'll be IN Thelmalu's neck of the woods!

I know you will be miserable without your kids, but imagine how happy you all will be to get together again and you'll be able to put all of that new knowledge right to work!! :D
