Please watch Beverley while she is playing with rubber bands. If ingested, these can cause intestinal obstruction. (Personally, I never let any rubber bands lay around, as I have three kitties.)
I wonder if she qualifies as a "torbie" because she has tabby markings, as well as the calico patches. There is a nice amount of white to set off her beautiful colors, too!
Beverley, you are such a stunning kitty! But watch out for the rubber bands...they don't make the best cat treats.

Hey there, Beverley! Instead of the rubber band from the newspaper, maybe your parents can try dangling the long plastic strip that wraps around the big Sunday edition. It's a game my kitties go crazy over!:) Once they're done batting and grabbing it I put it away for play the next time. Beverley, you are the very picture of an adored, happy cat, and I'm glad you prefer the inside, because the outdoors is cold in your part of the world and dangerous for most kitties everywhere. Your family treasures you and it must be wonderful to wake up with you snuggling at your side. Though you've "seen it all," beauty, I'm wishing you to see much more and many years ahead. whatch out with those rubber bands, its easy to choke on them! I just remembered my kitty ate my artificial Xmas tree and the tinsel, then he vomited and there was the tinsel and Xmas tree 'leaves' all over the floor. Have a nice day!
I used to work in a vet hospital and I know what terrible intestinal obstructions and entanglements can ensue when cats eat foreign objects,especially rubber bands!! So please find another toy, sweet Beverly...I also have a calico (or she has me), and she is a real talker! I have suspected that most calicos were this way, so I was interested to read that statement about you today. I love my Meowthy Julie--every sound she makes is music to my ears! She only knows one word (meow) but she can sure say a lot with it, and I am sure you can, too, Beverly! What a great companion you must be, and what a sweet name for a such a lovely and lovey kitty.
