Kunan has left us....

What the white coats thought was just a stubborn hairball turned out to be much worse. I took Kunan to the ER vet on Sunday morning. He was pale, dehydrated and his kidneys were starting to shut down. They immediately gave him IV fluids and did a few xrays. Tehy were very upbeat that he would more than likely recover. Unfortunately that was not to be. They called about 7:45 Sunday night to say he was going into cardiac arrest and did we want them to do CPR...making the hardest decision of my life, I said no, let him go...play hard fuzzball, I miss you more than you will ever know...:( :( :( :( :(

On one hand I am sorry that you had no time to say goodbye. On the other hand it is a blessing that it was not a long time.....

Can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of Kunan's passing. My thoughts and sympathy are with you. Take comfort in knowing he had a life full of love from you.

Another one with kidney problems. It just seems kidney problems are so prevalent these days and it all just brings me right back to last December. :(

Rest in peace and love Kunan... So sorry you had to make a decision like that - I hope I don't have to do that but one day I'm sure i will..... That was one thing that always stopped me from getting a pet - I knew I'd have to let them go one day after falling in love with them but I have learned finally that it is better to have a pet and love them for as long as you can...
