Pray for Joy

Joy is a very nice friend I've had at work for a long time. Although we haven't gotten together too much outside of work, I still feel very close to her. I don't know what her illness is but she hasn't been to work since the middle of July. They recently had a fundraiser for her at work, also. I had called her house before Christmas and her mother-in-law answered and said her temperature was 105 degrees. She's been on my mind for months and I finally just decided to do this for her. I feel she would do anything for me and I know I would for her. I'm going to send this link to her husband to let her know that I haven't forgotten her, I just didn't know what to do. Everyone here is so caring that I thought she needed all the help she could get.

Val, prayers are definitely on the way for Joy as well as her family. I understand how much a co-worker can become almost like family, and I'm sure it has been sad at work without her there too. How difficult it must be to deal with such a draining illness. My thoughts and prayers are with her.

Prayers on the way for Joy! She shares a name with my mom(her middle name). It must be difficult to know a friend is going through such a difficult time.

Everyone, I am bumping this up. I talked to her today and I don't want to get into details but it's very serious. She's home from the hospital and can be on the computer now. She needs lots of prayers.......
