Is Pet Talk slow lately?

...or is it my connection? Lately pages have been taking a long time to load.

Maybe its just your connection. It works fine with mine.

YES, I have been pulling my hair out trying to decide what is wrong with my computer!!!! The page comes up fairly quickly, but it is taking FOREVER for all the icons and buttons to load!!!:eek:

I don't notice any difference in loading time.

It isn't to snail's pace, but yes, I agree, something about moving from page to page has slowed down dramatically from the usual quickness. I'm on a cable modem at home and DSL at work, so it ought to be quite fast.

Must be your connections because it's been just fine for me. I have cable internet.

Even I have noticed this, and I'm on super fast connections both at work and at home! DSL at home and T1 lines here at work...and yes, things are loading much slower than normal...

It took six tries for me to load this page! I think PT got hit by a virus or something.

Have you cleaned out your cookies on a regular basis? Those could definitely slow down your connection.

Go into "start", click on "run", type in "cookies" and hit "okay"

There will be all the temporary internet connections you've ever made. Highlight all of them EXCEPT "index". You need to keep that always. Once you've highlighted all the folders, hit "delete". That will clean out all your cookies. It should help.

I blame it on all the bad weather disrupting the signals.
That's just my opinion though. ;)

I didn't make any adjustments here, but now it's running fine again... hmmm, oh well ... I'm happy!:D

I deleted all my cookies... Never done that before, but I have this program called ad-aware free from download.com and the first time I used it I had like 100's of bugs you'd be surprised. So I deleted them all.
