Hail storm....

Well I was sitting in my room minding my own business when I heard some loud noises. Then I heard people going outside and my mom called for me to "come see". So I ran upstairs to see what she wanted. Well it turns out the noises I heard was a sudden but very brief hail storm. My mom had run outside to grab some of the hail because it was so huge. So I took a pic. Keep in mind that the hail had melted a little already.

Well while I was taking the pic the sky opened up again!! I ran to the front window to get some more pics.

Woah! Those are BIG hailstones! :eek:

We dont really get storms like that round here. which is good because my dogs would be terrified!:rolleyes:

Hi! Did you get any damage from the hailstones? They looked big enough to cause some damage! I hope your car wasn't hurt(little dents).

I think we've gotten hail once, or that's the only time I remember. :p

Very cool! The little hail stones on the ground remind me of 'Dippin' Dots' icecream. ;) He he.

I'm too scared to go look, LOL I've only had my car for a few months, I don't want little dents all over it. LOL I'll go out and check once it stops pouring.

Ugh! I hate storms!! We have some nasty ones nthe way right now...thre is a Tornado warning in the county about 20 miles south of and it is moving NE...I'm hoping it goes more East and less North! This same storm dropped about an inch of rain in Ft Wayne in about 20 minutes!

That is so cool! I've only seen it once in my lifetime and that was in Texas. Hope your car isn't damaged. That would really suck. I know car businesses have good sales after those because of damage.

I had a Nissan Maxima when I lived in Colorado, and we got really bad hail storms all the time, every spring. This was a big white car, and one year a storm caught me out of the highway with no shelter in sight. My poor car got dents ALL over it ... and being white and covered all over in evenly spaced hail dents, it looked exactly like a giant golf ball!! :D

Once, a hailstorm broke my picture window, tore up the roof of my house and destroyed my shed. :eek:

Eek!!! Well my car survived as far as I can tell. I didn't see or feel any dents so......

Think I should run out and cover it with a blanket next time? LOL
