Hey everybody, I just discovered this site. I just submitted a nomination for my cat- named Pantera- for cat of the day. With luck, she'll be selected, and I can let her introduce herself to you all. If not then i'll have to, and Pantera is much more interesting then I am ;);)

I'm trying to post a photo of Pantera, but I upload the image- is there a limit on file size, or a limit for new members?

Concerning pictures... many of us have problems uploading at the moment, but you can ask Karen to do it for you. Also, take a look at the treads concerning pictures in Townhall, or FAQ's. You may find an answer there.

It doesn't seem to be an issue of file size,I just simply can't upload any photos.

I was reading that right now. So, it seems to be a problem of outdated software of the site.
No uploading of photos; bad :(
ok, the best I can manage is to link to photos I already have online. This one is older, when Pantera was six months old, and already about seven pounds

*edit* ok, I've solvedthe image problem, at least partially. :cool:
Karen posted a while back that the software for the photo process needs to be updated. She is a very very busy woman but will let us know when it is going to be updated.
Lucho, what works for me is - if the photo is on another website or social media, anywhere online - right click on the picture and choose "Copy Image". Then paste it into your post on Pet Talk. It may be quite large, but Pantera is worth it!
pasting the image doesn't work- nothing happens- but I can at least link to photos. Hmm, here goes a second photo :):)
