I was the BIGGER of the 3. I went over to "their" table and spoke with Karen's parents who have moved up to CT from FL recently. They were wonderful people, always have been!!! I first asked my friend if it would be politically incorrect to do that and she said absolutely not!! Donna - 1; Other side - 0.
Amy was THE coolest bride I have ever seen! The rehearsel went well. There was one little dig, however...when the JP asked if Karen and I would be willing to walk back down the aisle together, I said "Sure, why not?" Karen's reply was, "I'll walk back down the aisle with my SON!" Glad Amy wasn't around to hear this.
At the wedding, there was a gap (as my friend's said, it was so big you could've driven a Mack struck through it) full of chairs between me and the DeOrio side. My friend's felt bad. But, that's okay. No, I do not have cooties or some kind of contagious disease. It was not about US, it was about Amy and Paul. Too bad they didn't the other side didn't get it.
One of the groomsmen, a co-worker of Paul;s, asked me where I was last night at the rehearsal dinner. I flat out told him I was not invited. Everyone was like, "Are you KIDDING ME???" I asked them how it was and they said that they had greasy pizza! Well, I had a new york strip, with all the fixings plus 2 desserts. Donna - 2; Other side - 0.;)
