My sweet Vita was helped to Rainbow Bridge earlier this afternoon. She had lived with me 12 years. I adopted her from the city shelter as an adult. Vita was diagnosed with hyperthyroid in February, and did not respond to the medicine. She was less than half her weight.

OH, I am so sorry Sandie. I am in tears here at work. I am so sorry for your loss. She was such a beautiful girl.

Sandie, Vita looks so much like my Pidge that they could be twins. Such a beautiful girl! I'm so sorry for your pain at losing her but she's at peace now and I hope that you soon will be as well. RIP, pretty Vita.
You certainly did all you could for her. I'm sorry for your loss. No matter how many you have, each of them tugs at your heart in different and unique ways.

Sandie - I'm so sorry to hear this. She looks like my RB niece Brindle. Hopefully those 2 will get together with Mary's Pidge and become a beautiful set of triplets to hang out together and grace RB with their presence. :love:
