Help us decide!

Hee hee.... we're refinishing the rocking horse Ashley has as a little girl for the baby. Problem is what color should we make the hair? Oh yea, this is one HUGE decision and the fate of the world rests upon this! :p

We'll go buy the yarn sometime tomorrow but have no idea which color would be best - the green is fun but the browns look more realisitc. Help!

I thought my choice was the most popular until I realized that I'm the first poster! :D I chose green and white because all green looks too dense, brown looks too dull for a child's rocking horse, and white looked strange. The green and white is very striking and jolly.

Bah! Who needs realistic? This is for a baby and babies want fun fun fun! :D Reality comes later......unfortunately. ;)

I think the baby will like green and white the best. It is eye catching without clashing or screaming at you and not boring like the brown or tan.

I voted for tan but I also like green and white :)

I voted other - YELLOW

I really like tan the best.

I like the dark brown. I think its cute!!

If it was me I'd repaint the base a different color and go from there. I prefer more realistic but that's just me, I'd make it a bay with a white star and snip and paint Barbaro along the bottom!

We had stripped everyting off from before - the green IS a new color! :D It used to be a honey colored stain and Ash sanded it down to the bare wood and we chose new colors. As you can see, we're not afraid of color around here ;)

I chose green and white.

However, if going the realistic route, I'd choose black. (Like Vela, I love those bays!)

I like the dark brown and tan mix, the green is just a bit too much for me because of the green on the base and the gingham. The browns seem to blend in well with the horse.

I voted for the dark brown and tan mix... Though I think Black and Tan mixed would look nice too.
