Prayers all around. Especially right now for Dasher. Did they give you any pain meds for him. He's no doubt confused as to why that foot hurts.
Wouldn't it be nice if they could understand elevate and put an ice bag on it?

Oh, yeah... a buck for the Flower fund and a buck or two for the stinkin' fine, which I think they should waive, considering how many doggers you've rescued from the AC shelter.Quote:

Well, around Thanksgiving she began having episodes of dizziness. Her initial scans at that time appeared negative but the dizziness has not resolved. She had more tests that show the tumor has returned. Mary has been referred to a neuro-oncologist who's new to the area, plus there are new treatments that were not available at the time she had her surgery and radiation. I believe she has seen the oncologist for her first visit but I'm not sure. So if you could keep our Mary in your prayers, that would be grand.
Thank you,

Thoughts for you all...
Terry, please do let us know how it goes if you're able to. I know you've been suffering. {{HUGS}} to you sweet lady. :)
Prayers for you, Terry. I hope you need only the one surgery, and that IF you wind up losing a job, that a new and unexpected direction opens up for you.
HUGS!
Prayers also for Mary, and Rachel's Granddad.
Prayers to all who need them.
Congrats to Andy and his new job!
I was with Kimmy here about the play bow thing... till Phred posted this:
Where did Glacier post that? I must have missed it. Unless that came from an e-mail or PM she sent you.Quote:

Terry - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your upcoming surgery. I'm wishing you the best!
Rachel- Prayers for your grandfather!
And prayers for Mary!
Prayers to you all.
I *think* that Phred was just using that as a "in case this happened" but I might be wrong...Quote:

Angie's right - Glacier didn't *post* that info ... it came from a private PM exchange >>>
"The problem is Mac's behavior was directed at a child, much more serious under the by-law
than if he had tangled with the dog. The little guy fell on his back in the snow
and Mac grabbed the hood of his snowsuit, which was not on his head,
and was tugging him around."
Nobody actually saw Mac "Tip the Kid" - (my play on words for the rural prank practiced
by some teenagers called "Cow Tipping" ... where said kids rush up to and
*push over* onto it's side, an unsuspecting dairy cow. http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/eek.gif )
I did hold off my attempt at *humor* till AFTER I'd heard that things weren't quite as
serious as first thought, and that the AC interview had gone reasonably well.
We should still Pray that Mac only gets a *slap onna paw* for his friskyness!

Been out of town, so I'm just catching up, but keeping everyone's requests in mind & prayer...
Congratulations Andy! So exciting!
and I'm so relieved to hear that Mac's in no danger of losing his life.About this cow-tipping thing... I heard it's a rural legend, but when I lived in IL, not even the country kids would tell me if it's true or not! I think they just liked pulling this city girl's leg! :oQuote:

Prayers going out to you, dear Terry. I so hope your suffering can be eased.
Prayers going out to my cherished friend Vela, facing so many stressful and emotionally taxing situations.
Prayers for Mary as well, and all of those in need.
Papa almost died today. Thanks to the nurses NOT PAYING ATTENTION. My uncle has walked into him twice, and saved his life both times, just in time. I am just very emotional over this. More prayers would be great, thanks.... :(
Not knowing the full story, it's hard to make suggestions;Quote:

There are a LOT of special "monitors" that can be used to monitor a patient's vital signs 24/7 -
I wore a Heart Monitor every minute I was in the Hospital ... a lil battery operated gizmo
carried in a pocket or on a belt, connected to ME with stick-on patches.
It continuously sent my vitals into "Headquarters" at the nurses' station.
They have similar set-ups for nursing home residents.
Do SOMETHING to have him monitored!
