Ship to shore "Morris Code" message from Ritzy
This came today
Dear Meowmie & dadcat
I have had such a wondurrrful time on The GSFP, and Mr Pjevs is such a gentletom, although other ladies might not go for an older tux, I find him ever so wonderful, but alas I could not convince him to come live with us---he is a street cat at heart and I am just too fond of my heat registers, big screen patio window, rationed puss chow and clean water, not to mention the frequently cleaned litter pans. I just don't think my true love for PJ can overcome my distaste of the public "street squat"......alas, we shall always have the ocean!
I do miss my home, as it is where I get undivided attention - there are so many other cats here, meowmie, and I've tried hard to "work the room" to get my twice-daily required tummy rubs, but the ship folk are just so busy attending to the other cats...what's a prima-donna puss to do? There is a leaping contest, but you know me....I only play with things that are brought within my line of swat.....like the Panic Mouse you bought me (and I wish I had brought that with me on the trip)...you know, I love a toy that allows me to lay on my side and just liesurely swat as it flings by...
I am going out for one last fling with my beloved Mr PJ, before he hops aboard a passing fish freighter (seems he is the adventurous type, and this was how he earned his fare aboard the GSFP, and he is now working his way back home). Ahh, sweet Mr PJevs, if only Meowmie would lift the ban on a second cat....but then again....I WOULD have to share my tummy rub time!!

Seems the cruise has brought out so many movie themes...and now it seems Ms Ritz has taken another detour! Posing for a new Sphinx?? Perhaps reliving scenes from "The Mummy"....there was the statue of Anubis, the statue of Horace.....could this be...the statue of Hungrius, the large cat-like creature, guardian of the pharoah's food dish, under which is buried the fabled "Book of Rodentia" said to bring toy mice to life!
:D :D :D
My girls arrive home tomorrow!
We cannot wait for the cats to come home! I am sure the stories and tales or is that tails? will be amusing. I bet JuniRose has more stories than Miley.
By the way, Miley did not win the jumping contest and she would not tell me who did! Just like Miley to say something like that.
I promise to post some photos of the exhausted girls - after they arrive home.
