Octomom Nadya Suleman nixes porn offer – for her 14 kids’ sake
By Inside Track

Need a dose of good news?
Octomom Nadya Suleman has turned down $1 million and health insurance for her burgeoning brood to star in porno flicks - for now.
As we told you yesterday, Vivid Entertainment, the world’s largest porn purveyor, offered the serial mom an $1 million contract deal and threw in health and dental insurance if she’d appear in a handful of X-rated flicks this year.
“I think it’s kind of funny that I got offered $1 million to make porn,” Suleman, a mother of 14, told Radaronline.com . “Those guys at Vivid video must be nuts! Who wants to see me naked? Maybe in a year when the baby fat goes away,” she joked.
But Octomom goes onto say that she’d need more dough to participate and the only way that happens is if she pops out more kids. “Of course, if I have more kids I may have to ask for $2 million,” she said. “Seriously, though, my mum didn’t bring me up like that. Besides, what will my 14 kids think when they grow up?”
She’s thinking of the kids now???
Although Suleman has test-tube octuplets, she’s still a traditionalist at heart.
“I believe in love and romance. Not cheap thrills that belittle women,” she said.

Octo-Mom pressured to accept offer for free housing
Updated Thu. Feb. 26 2009 10:15 AM ET
CTV.ca News Staff
California's octuplets mother has until midnight tonight to accept an offer from a group that wants to provide free housing and medical care to her and her 14 children.
The lawyer for Angels in Waiting, a non-profit group that was founded by medical professionals to care for premature infants with fragile health, said Nadya Suleman has few better options.
"They can provide for the health and safety and welfare of not only the octuplets but also the other six siblings of these octuplets. And they would be able to keep the family together, provide what they call wrap-around services, 24/7 care," Gloria Allred, a victim's rights attorney representing the agency, told CTV's Canada AM.
Two weeks ago the group offered to provide free housing, counselling and medical services to Suleman and her 14 kids, for a minimum of six months.
That offer expires at midnight Thursday. If Suleman doesn't accept, she risks having the children taken away from her, Allred said.
The L.A. lawyer has even filed a complaint with the Department of Children and Family Services in Los Angeles County, asking them to open an investigation into whether the divorced, unemployed 33-year-old would be able to adequately care for all the kids on her own.
Suleman lives in Whittier, Calif. in her mother's three-bedroom home, which is reportedly under threat of foreclosure due to missed mortgage payments.
The eight babies were born nine weeks premature, and have not yet been released from hospital.
If social workers determine there is a risk to the babies' health, they could block their release indefinitely, at which point local authorities would step in.
"The Los Angeles county department of child and family services may take the children and place them in foster homes and have public agencies come in and take care of them," Allred said.
"That would mean a burden to taxpayers and I don't think the public wants that burden and this could help to avoid that."
The group has not met with Suleman, but Allred said she is certain the offer has been delivered.
Allred said Angels in Waiting is the only group in California that offers such a service. She warned that if Suleman rejects the offer, she runs the risk of "long lasting and severe consequences and developmental delays" for the children.
"I think if she decides the needs of her babies are paramount and she wants to act for their protection and wellbeing, then this would be a hard offer for her to refuse."
 UUMMPPSS I heard it all this morning on the ToDay Show.. OCOMOM Maniac has a Web Site Now & is asking for Donations for her Hardship Family thats going thru hard times.. Well we are all going thru hard times.. I ran & shut the TV Off.. That Oxxyy Moron Worman..
Helene, she's had a website for quite a while...or is this a new one?
Nevertheless, if she doesn't give her kids a decent house to live in - which she had til midnight last night to accept - she loses the 8 babies. Not sure about the other ones.
:( Well it is so UnEarthing just to think that she had these babies just so She could have Attention & the Media Glotting over her.. It just makes me so so Sick = that I could just Puckkkkk.. I think they should take all the babies away from her.. I also think that the Egg Doctor should have charges filed against him as well for doing the job.. Its all in all just for money.. They are all Wormens & Wormans..
I think the infertility specialist who ignored the standard of care and implanted eight embryos (when he should have only done two) should be financially responsible for all eight of those children until they are out of college.
UGH!!! She's on "The insider" and "Entertainment Tonight" every day now! :( She's doing a video diary. It seems she is moving to a bigger place so she has a "safe and proper home" for the 14 kids. She says it's a 4 bedroom place. How's that big enough for that mob???? The place she's in right now looks like a pigsty and is in deplorable condition. I'm sure the new place won't look much better before too long!
I wish she'd just shut up - literally!!!!! That voice of hers is soooo annoying and just grates on my nerves!
I saw that an organization called "Angels in Waiting" offered 24/7 help and she turned them down. Why in the world would she do that? How can she possibly believe that she'll be able to handle 14 kids on her own?
Has anyone heard her frantic 911 calls when she "misplaced" one of the
kids? She sounds really out of her mind & threatened suicide.
This woman has serious issues. I hope she is supervised at all times if she
ever gets to bring the 8 babies home.
Here's the link for the 911 call. (It's is pretty long call)
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=7011071&page=1
Her stories get wackier by the day - don't they? I hope she doesn't get the kids - I don't think they would be safe with her! She's looking like more of a nut case with each passing day!
 Yup & just think the Media is giving this Oxyy Moron Nutt Case just what she wants && that is Attention, being in the Spotlight & Money.. I realy realy hope they take those kids away for the kids benifit.. And then they need to send her back to the Mental Hospital she used to work for & this time make her a patient..
Having children myself, I can not justify her behavior on that 911 call like Dr. Phil did. I would be worried sick but not threatening to kill myself!! What good will that do that child or any of your children? Dr. Phil said she was acting just like any other parent in that position.
She is such a nutcase. I pray that those children are all taken away from her before she brings serious harm to them. :(
Wow. Those poor kids. It's only going to get worse. How will she keep track of 14 kids if she can't keep track of the 6 that she has? Very scary.
He didn't learn with the B. Spears debacle-I began to listen to the Dr. Laura radio shows and it just reinforces my disbelief that people will go to the media for a solution to family problems.
I could see the OM getting more helkp just by showing up on the show:eek:
The more news I hear about this, the more confused I am.
I should correct myself to say that DP started associating with this woman to gain publicity. No matter what, he's making a show out of it, hoping people will watch.:(
With the whining voice of DP and the Mickey Mouse on helium voice of Octomom, it's more than I can listen to without going berserk.
Did you all see Dr. Phil on the David Letterman show this week? He referred to himself as the "Octo Docto" and said that he'd had several conversations with Ms. Suleman off-camera. I don't like Dr. Phil because of his claim that "there is no reality, only perception". I disagree with that idea. Two plus two does not equal five.
And I saw a sound byte last night of Ms. Suleman stating that she "actually enjoys talking to psychologists and therapists" -- what's wrong with that picture? At first I thought she was okay and it was the fertility specialist that was the problem, but the more I hear from her personally the more I'm starting to think she's less than 100% of sound mind.
Here is an article from the latest issue of TIME - all about the fertility doc she used.
Well... at first I thought something had to be wrong. Then I heard that she admitted only wanting one more daughter, and acknowledged that she couldn't care for the babies on her own. So I thought she had it together and the fertility specialist was the one with the problem, not her. But I don't know anyone personally who would enjoy talking to a therapist or psychologist. Or, at least admit to that. So now I'm back to thinking she doesn't have it all together. Plus her facial expressions and her voice - hello, Ms. Suleman? Are you in there? Do you have a grip on what's happening to your children?Quote:

Octuplets mom agrees to outside help for her kids
Tue Mar 10, 12:46 AM
By Steve Gorman
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - California's octuplets mom has agreed to allow a foster nursing charity to provide care for her eight newborns and six older children for at least six months, television therapist Dr. Phil McGraw said on Monday.
Under the agreement between the mother, Nadya Suleman, and the philanthropic foundation Angels in Waiting, she and all 14 children will live together in a new home found for the family near her current neighborhood in suburban Los Angeles, a spokeswoman for McGraw said.
A statement from his nationally syndicated TV show, "Dr. Phil," said the nonprofit agency "initially will be providing around-the-clock services of skilled neonatal intensive care nurses who specialize in premature infant developmental care."
"Psychological and physical early therapies to help all of the children's growth and well-being will also be provided," the statement said, adding that services "will commence as soon as the octuplets are released from the hospital and will be reevaluated very six months."
The statement also said Suleman, who has been living with her six older children, aged 2 to 7, in her mother's three-bedroom house, had found "a suitable new home" for her family, and that Angels in Waiting will help her "prepare the house properly to meet the children's needs."
According to the news website TMZ.com, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house with a large backyard is being purchased for the family by her father, with a "substantial down payment" coming from money Suleman has amassed in recent weeks, much of it presumably from donations.
ENORMOUS TASK
McGraw's nationally syndicated TV show, "Dr. Phil," which scored strong ratings with a two-part interview of Suleman last month, said he would reveal further details of the plan he helped broker in broadcasts set for Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Nadya realized that she had to make every effort to care for the octuplets as well as the six children at home in a way the proved that she understood the enormity and complexity of the task ahead," McGraw said in a statement. "The plan in place ... affords all of the Suleman children a chance to grow and thrive."
McGraw became involved in discussions between Suleman and Angels in Waiting after she confided to him fears of not being allowed to take her newborns home from the hospital until she could prove she had the means to care for the infants.
Gloria Allred, a Los Angeles lawyer representing Angels in Waiting, has said she asked child welfare authorities to review Suleman's case after the mother rebuffed an initial offer from the nonprofit agency to help with the care of her children.
Suleman first made headlines January 26 when she gave birth to six boys and two girls, delivered 9 1/2 weeks premature, at the Kaiser Permanent Medical Center in suburban Los Angeles.
Representing only the second known set of octuplets born alive in the United States, their arrival initially was hailed by Kaiser's neonatal team as a medical triumph.
But Suleman become a lightning rod for public ridicule after it was learned that she already was a divorced, jobless mother of six living with her parents on food stamps when she became pregnant with octuplets through in vitro fertilization.
She has said that all 14 of her children were conceived via embryo transplants, using sperm donated by a single "friend."

I can only believe this woman waited just long enough so it would look like someone had to beg her to do this. Are we supposed to applaud her for this? Are we supposed to believe she didn't know what she was doing in this situation?:(
I saw the news clip of her new home. Holy Cow!! The place is a mansion.
At the end of the day: she's going to get all the handouts anyone would have normally gotten for multiple births. It's disgusting!!
