Prayers for a clean and quick recovery, and a long happy life for Raven! (she has the best mommy, that takes care of the happy right there! :D )
I just got home from work and had to check in.
I'm so happy to hear that she made it through the surgery fine and is almost ready to come home.
I'm still going to be keeping her in my prayers that this nasty cancer doesn't come back.
Now snuggle up with the T's and get yourself some much deserved rest.
More (((HUGS)))
Love Anna
I hope you can get some rest tonight, Jess, take care of yourself too! I know Raven is in good hands and she will do just fine. I am heading to bed now but I will check this thread as soon as I awake in the AM. :)
I am glad the surgery went well and that they got all of it this time!
((((HUGS)))) to you and Raven! I am thinking of you and praying for sweet, beautiful Raven.
I know it's late but I thought of Raven and you, Jess all day, She was the topic of conversation at lunch with my friends and they too, added prayers. I'm glad the surgery is over and Raven is doing well. I know you can't wait to get her back in your loving arms. Praying aas hard as I can that the cancer is gone forever and ever. Many loving hugs to you, Raven and the T's
You know, I was sitting at my desk eating lunch today and thinking about you Jess and precious Raven. I started crying into my salad and just when I wiped away the tears a coworker came in. When asked what was the matter, I just said, I'm OK. How can I possibly explain that "I'm hurting for someone whom I've never met and lives miles away who has her precious pet in for sir jury and I've never met the pet either and I only know them from a website called Pet Talk"..... It just wouldn't fly and that's why I've never told anyone around me about PT.
In my tenure here at Pet Talk, I've come to care very deeply for the people and their pets and here I am crying again.......for someone and her pet that I've never met.
What a community we have here!!!
My cheque was mailed today Jess.
I'm glad Raven made it through the surgery ok. I hope she will recover fine and this will all be over for good. We love you Raven!
I'm glad to hear that Raven's surgery went well and she'll continue to remain in my thoughts and prayers. I sure hope that the cancer will never return and that she'll live a long happy and healthy life.
That's terrific news! I certainly hope the cancer is gone forever! The power of PT is just heartwarming sometimes :)

How's Raven (and you) doing today? Prayers your way.
We are a truly unique group of people here!
If you're not a part of it... don't even try to understand us, because you never will. It's almost like our own secret club! :D
I've shed many, many tears for PT members & pets and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Jess, I'm so glad her surgery went well yesterday! I pray her cancer doesn't come back. Or like Brody's Mum said:
"Raven's cancer won't dare return with us lot to answer to!! "
I'll be waiting for your update this morning after your 9:30 call!!!
What Slick said is so true. The emotion we feel for pets and people we've never even met, tells us something about ourselves. We really have a great group of people here.
Still thinking about you all Jess. I'll check back after coming home from work later this evening. I hope it's a joyful reunion for Raven, Mom, and the T's!! Please give that sweet Raven some kisses from me to welcome her home and some more kisses for those beautiful T's. :)
I'm going to get her now :D :D
If anyone hasn't checked the donation page, the amount donated has had me in tears several times, the total is $876.11. Because everyone here was so generous, Raven's life didn't have to come down to money or time to raise it. I truly feel blessed to "know" such a group of people. You are right, most just don't understand. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for doing what you've done for them.
Woooohoo! Raven's coming home. I bet you two will both be thrilled to see eachother. :D
Looking forward to you coming home Raven! I know your mommy is going to be so happy to have you back with her! :D
Yippeee!!
She's coming home!!!
:D
I know she'll be as happy as you to be back home. Please give all your dogs hugs from me (maybe a few extra for Raven ;) ) I'm so happy she's coming home!
**taps fingers**
Oh the waiting....I just hate the waiting. I have to go out in a hour...sure hope she's home by then.
What wonderful news - she is coming home! My heart is so full for you - I know just how you feel.
I am praying that aside from a check up - you don't ever have to leave her overnight again.
My baby girl is HOME! She's a bit more subdued than normal (who wouldn't be?) but she is looking great, tail wagging and so happy to be home. I had to go out and take some pictures for everyone. It is hard to really look closely at her mouth, I got a brief look but she is not eager to have her mouth held open right now and I do not blame her! It'll be easier to see when she pants.
She is on antibiotics and pain medicine and soft diet, I picked up some EVO RM canned for her. Also I'm supposed to flush the area every day with some warm water, they gave me syringes for that. She goes in for her first recheck next Friday. Today will be a quiet and restful day for my girl. And now on to the pictures. It's been rainy and dark out and I was trying to hurry and get them before the rain started again.

And one of her mouth, but her lip really covers the area and you can't see much other than the missing bottom canine.

She's HOME HOME HOME!
She's so beautiful, and just a wee bit tired looking. Give her hugs and kisses, please.
I'm so glad she's home! Please love her for me, ok? I hope she feels a lot better soon. I know she's happy to be back with you.
She does look a bit weary - I hope she has a calm and restful day now that she is back home with Mom!
She looks great!!! Now all of you can kick back and relax for the rest of the day. Welcome Home sweetheart!!! :) :D :)
{{{{{{{GIANT HUGS}}}}}}} :) :) :)
OMD just look at that sweet facie! She does look good after all she's been through. This is just another PT miracle in making right before our eyes.
Have a peaceful day Jess and Raven. By the way, how are Tasha and Tommy taking all this?
Awww little sweetie. Raven does look tired & but good otherwise. :) I
do hope you both can get the rest that wasn't possible before. Still praying
for smooth & quick recovery. You both have been through so much. ((hugs))

Prayers and healing thoughts continuing.
:D Welcome home, Raven! A good rest in her own bed and some of your loving will perk her right up. Continuing prayers this is the end of her problem.
:D Congratulations! You Must of went threw something big! I am just glad ravens home and healthy!
Hope You Are Doing Great :D
Bless You ~
Poor baby she is really so exhausted, and for the first time since all this came up seems a little depressed. Not that I expect her to be bouncing with joy after such a major surgery, but it still hurts just to see her not feeling as well. When she yawns I can definitely tell the difference.. her lower lip folds over into her mouth where it used to stretch over the bone that was taken out. Even in the pic I posted earlier of her mouth, if you look close you can see how it it puckers and indents a bit from the bone that was taken. Tommy and Tash are taking it all in stride. Tash is more relaxed now, she had a bit of a rough morning because of thunderstorms (she's terrified of them). It's a rainy cloudy day and perfect for everyone to just take it easy and rest.

I like this one without flash, just had a yellowish lamp type lighting.

She's sound asleep at the moment.
She looks great, albeit a little tired but that's ok. She needs to rest and let her body recuperate. I'm so happy she is home. :)
Aw, not depressed Jess, just worn out. She has been through a lot. I am glad that she is home, and that it is the kind of day where everyone just wants to lie around and take it easy anyway. She looks beautiful.
Oh Jess, I'm so glad she's home with you!!
I hope all 4 of you take it easy and chill out the rest of the day!
{{{HUGS}}} all around!
Yay!! I'm so glad she's home. She's looking good. *HUGS*
Lots of prayers for her first checkup!
It's so good to see Raven back home where she belongs! I'm sure she'll feel better tomorrow. You all deserve some rest today. :)
I love that sweet face of hers, its so nice to she that she's back home and doing well! =]
Give her a hug for me, will you?
Positive vibes still headed that way.
Pics of her mouth. I had her out a bit and it's warm today so she was panting some. She's looking a little perkier this afternoon. The vet said she may lose the tooth on the end yet, it will depend if it anchors well.
