Catdad is getting "da bus" ready with porta-potty and fresh water. We are soon headed out to get pet-wipes and run errands before a class we have 7-8 and then headed for Columbus!!! Will check his final flight info before we leave the area. We will be there plenty early - don't worry!

Forgive me if this was already answered: How does Boomer get from his plane to the other? Someone is aware of him and his carrier and gets him to the other plane?

Everyone on the flight runs for the bathrooms :D
The flight crew cleans up the mess from all the partying that went on during the long flight. Boomer has to agree that little dog sure loved treats. :)
Time to settle in for a few hours delay (I hate sitting in airports). Maybe Boomer can pass the time in the airport shops?????? Catch a quick dinner and settle in for the next flight :)

Yay! Boomer is on American Soil!!! Shew! Now I can breathe!
Just one more leg of the trip to go!!! Poor guy has to wait 4 more hours to get back on with the trip!!! I hate layovers, but 4 hours is just a nightmare! I wonder what he thinks is going on???

Sounds to me like there's people that are there to tend to Boomer and the other animals in transport.

Continental Airlines claims to be A-#1 in PetCare!
They have a special "Pet Desk" that keeps track of ALL Live Animal
shpments in their aircraft any any animals they have responsibility
for but have shipped on another caarrier's aircraaft ...
The "Pet Desk" is manned 24/7 with a Cargo Agent that has authority
to "boss" agents at other cargo terminals - to Insure that
SOMEone knows an animal is on board an aircraft and goes out
to unload and care for the animals.
If an animal seems sick or injured - Continental arranges for immedient
Vet care and notifies the shipper and recipient.
Newark Airport - being an International Terminal for Continental -
probably sees LOTS of animals arriving & departing -
there's probably a VERY Pet-Friendly Cargo Handler there that just
LOVES to run out to Meet & Greet the Furry cargos!
Between the central "Pet Desk" and the Locals - I'll bet Boomer has
a calm rest in Newark and gets on board the Columbus plane
in plenty of time!
