Actually, I do have some child safety locks but with my arthritis, I can't open them! :o :D

Gosh, you do have your hands full, don't you! But they're wonderful! I think Angel may be trying to get you back in shape! :D
Isn't it about time you sit down with that blueberry/banana smoothie. :p
My poor boy is under the weather. He acts just like Angel did when she had that virus bug in January. I can't get him to the vet until tomorrow plus we are to have freezing rain tonight. If we do, the buses won't run.
He ate some of his breakfast and I have been squirting a bit of water down his throat every few hours. He just doesn't want to move much.
He did feel awfully hot a while ago, so I wiped him down with a damp cloth. That seemed to help. My vet had told me to do that with Angel if her fever came back.
My baby boy is never sick!!! :(
Oh, I am so sorry to hear Chester's not feeling well.:( I hope this
is just a temporary thing & with rest, he'll feel better tomorrow.
Prayers that this is not serious & he will feel better soon.
Chester, I know you love your little sister but do the two of you have to share EVERYTHING? :p;)
Prayers that you and Chester can get safely to the vet and back, and that some antibiotics will have him right as rain in no time!
Prayers for Chester to be back in good health shortly.
Hugs and purrs, and gentle pets for Chester,
Pat and cats
I am just so worried I'm almost sick. I hate seeing him laying around like this. If something happens to him because I couldn't get him to the vet, I'll never forgive myself. :(
Prayers going out for dear Chester. Get well soon, handsome boy!
He has been laying beside my computer chair since this morning. No potty or water breaks. I have been squirting a syringe full of water in him about every 3 or so hours. He just acts like he doesn't want to move. On the bright side, he did eat well at supper. Not a lot but he ate good and had a good appetitie.
It's good that he had an appetite & ate something for you. :) That
does sound like better news. Fingers & paws crossed here.:)
I'm sorry to hear about Chester.:( Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way. If he's still sick tomorrow and the buses aren't running could a neighbor or a friend give you a ride to your vets?
I have no neighbors who would do that plus all my friends dropped me when I got disabled with arthritis. :( BUT:
Chester says thanks for the luvies. He had his very first bus ride. His eyes were so big!!!!
He was a good boy at the vets too. Even when this HUGE dog, called a brindle but looked like a tiger, (just a pup weighing 115 pounds) was right beside his carrier. He did protest the cottom swab up the bum though when they did a worm check on him. (he was worm free) He didn't care for the thermomater either. His temp was 103 something.
They did some blood work. He has a virus. All his blood work was good except his blood suger was high. That's probably because he ate some breakfast this morning. Not much but several bites.
So, he got a shot and some amoxi-cil to start tomorrow. He did start drinking on his own this morning before we went to the vets.
He's laying beside my chair right now.
The receptionist at the vet said if the roads should get bad and the bus wouldn't run and I have a kitty emergency like this, to call her and they would send someone to get them. That's a load off my mind.
thanks again everyone for all the prayers and well wishes.:love:
Dear precious Chester, please get well soon! (((HUGS))) for you and your 3 sisters!
