Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble getting up the stairs, Heidi. You've gotten so big I can't believe it. I hope Marlene and Larry have a good trip. Heidi sure does love Taffy. Be a good girl and don't bite, Heidi!! :) :) :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...heidisun36.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ffyrestin1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ffyrestin2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...heidispal1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...direstin10.jpgHeidi snoozing in the sun Friday afternoon,Taffy snoozing on the couch,Heidi over with Taffy by the little couch and Heidi snoozing under the stereo.Heidi's ears are starting to Gray,seems to be more Gray around her eyes.They pretty well behaved themselves,Taffy on the couch,Heidi would keep going over to the couch and trying to kiss her,anytime Taffy got up and moved,Heidi would be right there.They each had their snack of food,were out a couple of times,Heidi would keep after Taffy when not eating,she got a timeout for biting at Mom,had 1 today,she was at Taffy,Taffy was wandering around,eventually put her outside there she stands and smells the air,something she does at home.Taffy was up wandering before 5 this morning,she would quiet down and would hear her breathing.This morning,Taffy came down here,had some bacon treats and a Iams bone2 of them,Heidi was up with us,she was in the chair with me after I ate breakfast,she kissed me a bit and looked outside where it was really windy,last also,power flickered,getting some snow tomorrow,anywhere from 2-6 inches,depends on who you listen to.Heidi right now,snoozing under the stereo and Taffy on the couch,Mom sitting and watching women's curling,has a bit of a cold,is tired out from it.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diplayin16.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diplayin17.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diplayin18.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idilookin2.jpgHeidi playing with the Monkey and the rubber bone this morning and under the stereo looking at me.It gets to night time and both Heidi and Taffy roam around a lot,Taffy goes out and just stands and sniffs the air.They both had snacks,settled down eventually,Heidi at Mom's feet and Taffy on the couch.Taffy sleeps in the living room.I had snow to do this morning,an inch or so,I also did my Uncles and the one next door with the neighbor died on Saturday,last year he cut our Ash tree down,had help from his son also tilled the flowerbed so we could put grass in,he planted grass seed so it was the least I could do,also did the neighbors across the street and Larry and Marlene's their neighbors were away who usually do it.That funeral is on Thursday and the one for the lady who died Friday is tomorrow,visitation is today.Heidi and Taffy have been down here most of the day,Heidi keeps after Taffy,who likes to sleep.Both have had supper and are now sleeping Heidi under the chair here and Taffy on the couch.Heidi just peed on the carpet,has also popped the last few days,Mom thinks she is jealous of Taffy.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eiditired2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ffyrestin3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idipillow1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eiditired3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ffyrestin4.jpgHeidi Monday afternoon snoozing in the sunshine by the Monkey,Taffy snoozing on the small couch,Heidi behind the chair napping,using the monkey as a pillow today,snoozing under the stereo and Taffy on the couch.Right now,Heidi is at my feet snoozing, Taffy on the couch.Taffy was up wandering between 4 and 5 this morning,I heard a bang,she was going downstairs,I forgot to shut the gate at the top of the stairs so got up and got her back up,she slept by the TV in the living room.Heidi had her breakfast after going out,she didn't hear Taffy early today,was with mom on the chair and with me,was biting at pants and feet.Taffy went downstairs to nap,Mom later brought her some food to eat,Heidi was right there,anytime Taffy has food ,Heidi is hoping she gets some even if it isn't meant for her.Once this morning,both were out together,Heidi jumping at Taffy,Taffy doesn't do anything,Heidi is at her down here whenever he changes position on the couch.Mom has gone to the funeral for our former neighbor who died on Friday of a heart attack,Thursday is another one for my Uncle's neighbor.Cold start for today 5 degrees above 0,now 23 and sunny.Heidi had a mishap last night,peed on the carpet,Mom says she is jealous of Taffy,Taffy did the same this morning,Heidi has done a bad thing almost every day Taffy has been here.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...heiditaff1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...heiditaff2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eiditired4.jpgHeidi and Taffy out on the back patio Tuesday morning and a few minutes later Heidi snoozing in the sunshine by the fireplace.While I went for a bath last night,Taffy gets down off the couch and starts to wander which gets Heidi going,both had a snack.Both had a snack later on,Heidi tries to get at Taffy's food and water.Taffy is awful at wandering around for no reason,try to tell her to lay down,can't get through to her,she is almost deaf,sometimes I think she just ignores you.She does the same outside wanders around,I ask her to come in once just walked off the step and and onto the patio,had to go out and get her to come in.Once tried to get her on the couch,she growled at me.Taffy has an awful habit of rubbing her face on anything,furniture or carpet,she sheds an awful lot,hair is all over the blankets she has been on sand the carpet upstairs,blankets will be washed and carpet vacuumed.If if it wasn't for me,I don't how we could have both dogs here,it is a handful with Taffy,don't know how my sister does,I lose my patience with Taffy,Mom appreciates my help with the two of them.She is going to go out and play cards tonight so I have to look after the two of them.,Right now,they are both quiet,Heidi in front of the gate and Taffy on the couch,nice day her,Sunny and around 30-32.The plane lands in Toronto around 1:30 so may be here by 4-4:30.

Somebody sure is jealous!!! Awwww.....Heidi, are you wondering how long Taffy will be visiting? I think you like her alot but you have to act out to prove it, huh? Be a good girl!!!:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eidiwakey1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eidiwakey2.jpgHeidi waking up this morning.On Thursday night,Heidi looked out towards the bar room and barked,there was nothing there and on one at the back door,unless she can see things we can't,have no idea what it was she heard or saw.Yesterday,I did all the vacuuming and had finished upstairs,I came down after I was done and Mom said Heidi had been running around,possibly because of hearing the noise of the vacuum upstairs,she looked scared and was walking away from me,she did sit down and let me rub her tummy,she was looking funny at me.I know when I have vacuumed before upstairs,I come down when mom isn't here and she is by the chair so don't what was wrong this time.This morning,she went right out,come in and ate and out again.She went and greeted Mom when she got up,had a play with toys,was with e in the chair licking my face after breakfast which was Bacon,Eggs and Toast.We went out go for the paper,she stayed down here under the stereo snoozing was behind the gate after we got back.She had a blitz down here this morning,has been out a couple of times,is now snoozing under the chair,having Chinese food for supper.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eiditired8.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diplayin19.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eidiprowl1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idilookin3.jpgHeidi snoozing down here last night,playing with the Monkey down here this morning,can't see it,prowling around ,looking for something to get into and staring at me.It has been a long day for me,I was up at quarter after 4 doing snow,we were to get an inch of snow,well it turned out the forecasters were wrong,instead got 4 inches,I did ours and 3 others,too about 3 hours,I was too tired for church so stayed home with Heidi.After Heidi got up,mom said she came down here looking for me,I usually get her up,she was happy to see me.I had breakfast after getting washed,she played a bit then was with me in the chair.She came down with me,I carried her in bed,she played and napped.Shannon brought Brandyn and Samantha to Larry and Marlene's had breakfast,somehow Buster got loose and ended up in the middle of a busy street,got him back safely.Marlene took Samantha to church,she went to Sunday school really enjoyed it,Brandyn stayed with Larry,they did snow shoveling,Shannon was with them someone had to watch Buster.The Junior Choir sang and Samantha was right into ,tapping her feet,the Sunday School went out to do something,she went right along no problem.Larry drove by the church,Brandyn in the passenger big as life.Heidi spent some time with Mom in her lap upstairs, was quiet with no biting,we had the rest of the Chinese foo for super,she was good while we ate,had hers before ours.After supper we came down,she got a time out for biting,is now having a snooze behind,snoring away,we are getting rain tonight and tomorrow,cooling off tomorrow night at 19 degrees.

Awwwww....hi cutie!! Heidi, I love love love the pictures of you up on the couch looking at Taffy. I think that vacuum cleaner scared you, sweetheart. So sorry.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idisprawl1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/heidiin1.jpgHeidi sprawled out on the carpet last night and this morning at the door wanting in.She went right out this morning after I took garbage and blue boxes out,had breakfast, out again an in,had a play ,chewed on a bone,was up with me in the chair,gave me kisses and looked outside.She had a ride down in her bed,she had a blitz down here and had to go out,most of the time today she doesn't do anything,she is out there looking for things to eats,she eats plenty of her food.Heidi went to her cage when we went to Wal Mart and to Loblaws,a grocery store,she is having one of her blitzes now,jumped right over the bed.After we got back,she went out and straight to where her food dish was so gave her supper,we has our later which was Chili.Tonight,she has had 2 timeouts for biting,was good last night,not so much tonight.Tomorrow ,she goes to the groomers,will see how she acts there tomorrow.

I then brought her down in the bed,she played and napped,went out a few times,would bark the odd time,has great hearing,can hear things out side form down ere and this morning was looking towards the front door when she was upstairs and barking,did it outside too.heidi had hers upper around quarter after 1,we had our s closer to three,we had Hot pork sandwiches.She is now down behind me napping,Mom has had a cold the last wee or so and has been coughing,she thinks she pinched a nerve in her side,doesn't want Heidi beside her.Marlene will now have her hernia surgery on March 22nd,so Taffy will be here for a few days,I am not looking forward to having her here again,gets everything she lays on hair all over it and I think she is getting senile,hard to get through to her.

Heidi had a little More food after I ate.She has been down her snoozing or playing with toys,had a blitz then snoozed ,is wandering around my chair at the moment .There is a rainfall warning here,for over an inch to up to 2 tonight and all day tomorrow,cooling off Sunday and a little snow.

Wow!! Is it possible that she gets more and more pretty every time I see pictures of her? She is such a little doll baby. I just can't stop saying that. I wish we could have a tiny little bit of snow :) It's absolutely gorgeous here but I love the cold weather. I already miss it. I won't complain. We are very lucky. Prayers going out to Mom and Marlene. My goodness, seems like there's somebody sick all the time doesn't it?

Miss Heidi! The area on the red carpet, where the sun shines in, is your special spot! How sweet! I bet it is warm from the sun :) I love the close-ups of you on the blue blanket! You are soooo cute!
