Glad to see Sadler is okay.
Let's see............
Edwards, Keselowski, Harvick and others get probation for rough driving.......
What's going to happen to Jimmy? Oops, never mind, he's a four time cup champ, he can't do anything wrong.
Did anyone watch Shaq vs. last night?
He raced Junior in a 'handicap' race, very funny, I laughed thru most of that segment.....
That was awesome! I was wondering how the heck they were gonna get him in.
I told Ralph, just before it came on, Junior standing next to Shaq is going to look like a midget! Shaq walked in, and we both started rolling. I've "met" Junior.....he is a tiny dude. I know Shaq is huge, but such extremes!
Favorite quote from Shaq... "People that say these drivers aren't athletes can kiss my a$$!"
For tomorrow only!
Target will be giving away free plastic bags to carry your purchases out of the store.....
;)
So Kasey Kahne is gonna drive for Red Bull next year, before moving to Hendrick in 2012.
Unlikely, but what if he wins he championship with Red Bull? Will he still want to move on?
And now we have Paul Menard going to RCR as a 4th car. Didn't we already lern they don't do well as a 4 car operation? Guess you can't say no to Daddy Menard's money....
WHO JUST SANG THE N.A.?
OMG, Roseann Barr...step aside.

A-10s are prettiest, ugly planes on the planet.
wasn't that Saving Abel? Those A-10's shoulda done us a favor by testing out that gatling gun on the front. :D
Richard, Saving Able did a much better job with the "Gentlemen Start Your Engines" on Saturday. I agree they pretty much stunk on Sunday with the Anthem.

Richard, I have a nice little picture for you that Ralph (Amy's husband) took while we were in Toledo last weekend;):D
Kyle was at Toledo Speedway while we were there. He wasn't able to drive his car so he was doing a bus ride with his fans (him driving). We all signed up, but unfortunately I was the only one who got to ride. Thought I'd share a couple pics of that too...sure you'll love them LOL!
OK, the last one is just for you (picture by Amy) She's Hot!
Wouldn't ya just know it...last time we get rained out at Michigan when we went, this time Keslowski wins:eek: I think we need to stay away from that place! I'm glad we didn't have to see Kevin win too:p
It was a fun time with great friends though and I did get to drive a new camero!
Great race last night, better race today?
The kids were great

Shemp?;)
I still think he was not nice to the gal in the truck race, so I am going to be a little skeptical?:p:D
I was out of town all weekend. I caught the last few laps of the NW race, and now it looks like I should be glad I didn't see the Cup race.
This says it all;):p

Richard, I love our banter back and forth..I really do:D
Did anyone see the Nationwide race yesterday? Wow, what a race! I wanted to take a nap but this race was too good!
First I thought Marcos was going to win, then Carl, then Boris. No wait,Max?! Nope it was Boris! I was really happy for him, it's about time he got a win:D
yeah I got a little depressed after Marcos lost contention, but then when Carl got removed from the mix I was super-excited that maybe for once somebody other than the usual suspects actually had a shot at this. I'm glad that Boris won the drag race at the end, Papis kinda creeps me out a little.
Loved the Nationwide race yesterday...I love it when the go raod corse racing. I don't think we need all road course races, but 1 in the Chase and at least 1 with the trucks would be awesome.
I admit, I was sorta pulling for Mad Max at the end. But I was good with Boris winning, since he has taught 1/2 the field to drive and he did have a Zipadelli on the pit box. I was just so afraid they would wrek each other and somehow Brad Keselowski would sneak into the winner's circle. But it was fun to see a small team win!

:rolleyes::eek::confused:
GO 14!
What a great ending to a great race! Tony deserved this one for sure:D
Wasn't too happy about Denny loosing his motor, but this win made it all better!!!
AWESOME!
What a fun race all the way through! I loved watching Tony and Denny race early (hate that Denny blew up!) and seeing Kyle and Ryan both come back to get good Top 10 finishes. Great action all the way through.
And of course, the best part....
WAY TO GO SMOKE!!!!!! :D:D
Denny, Denny, Denny! Go Denny! Yep, we're happy here in this house tonight:D
Denny is the #1 seed, not Jimmie! Hope he can win the cup!
I guess the Gibb boys did pretty good this weekend. Too bad Tony didn't fair as well.
Loving that Kyle set another record!
HOLY CRAP! Did y'all see that? Mark Martin must be the best sandbagger out there. Had most of NASCAR Nation convinced that his beat up car would be lucky to finish at all and then sneaks all the way up to 2nd place :)
THANK YOU Stock Car Jesus! GIMME 5!
Did anyone else see the chief marketing officer for NASCAR on "Undercover Boss" yesterday? I'm not a fan of car racing in general so I didn't know much about NASCAR. I learned a lot!
Like, there are races 38 weeks of the year and the drivers and teams travel from race to race. The cars have special tires that have to be measured before each race and placed in the right position on the car. I wonder why the tires have no grooves, at that speed wouldn't the car need the grooves to keep it from slipping and sliding on the track? (Maybe the forward momentum plus the weight of the car keeps it moving forward as opposed to up and down the width of the track?) And I missed how many changes of tires per car any given race requires. I wonder what NASCAR does with all those used tires? Can tires be recycled?
Everyone on the pit crew has a specific job and they actually train for and rehearse the pit stops ahead of time. The pit stops are almost choreographed like dances. Everyone knows where to go and exactly what to do. No wasted effort or movement when the driver makes the stop.
They showed him helping to paint signs at the tops of the curves and you could see how steeply the curves are banked. The signs and markings are painted by hand.
When I was in high school my parents and I went to the Indianapolis motor speedway. You can take a bus tour around the track. It makes one slow loop in which they show you everything, the service pits, the infield, the stands and the curves. It was so cool!
That was a good race, no real crashes and loved the two car trains.
Reminded me of the "train races" at the old local loop.
;)
