The card swaps are so much fun! I love Christmas, and Christmas cards. I got one card today, I do not look forward to the first day when no cards arrive! Thanks to everyone who sent us cards - I have not compiled a list of whose I have received, but if you need to know, you can ask, and I'll let you know!
I got Phred's today and was wondering who in the world it was that sent it! Since that's not his name here. Loved seeing Cinder and Smoke. They're so sweet.

I wanted to thank the numerous people who kept me on their card list this year. It truly is appreciated and felt great that you all still thought of me. You're special people... and you know who you are. :)

Isabel, I am so sorry as it seems you didn't get my card up to now. I sent it mid December from here and you didn't get it last year as well isn't it?
I have no idea what happened and I am a little reluctant to send another one- I am just not sure why it doesn't arrive :(
I did not participate to the card swap this year because I was not sure I would have time for it, with my baby expected for the beginning of November (she finally arrived on the 30th of October and since this time I am pretty busy ;) ) but I would like to thank the members (they will recognize themselves) who sent me a card even if I was not in the list! I enjoyed very much the cards I received, THANK YOU!!!! :cool:

Actually, Doogie was Santa and Dasher was the reindeer :D I have two spectacular critters. Dasher didn't know how to pose when I first got him but he does now. And he loves it! *I get Doogie drugged up on catnip* (just kidding) Doogie is almost like a dog. I tell him to stay and he does. He's a very laid back cat.Quote:

I finally took photos of ALL the cards I received this year. The last one did arrive before Christmas (3 came on the 24th), but I waited to take the photos, just in case there were more on the way. These are from family and friends, and from all the PT folks! I really enjoyed participating in the Christmas card swap, and I want to thank all of you for the lovely cards!

I drew it by hand and then scanned it in, I sent the file to be printed off to Staples, and they did the actual printing, on matte card stock.Quote:

I always love the card swap. It's so fun to get cards from all over the world and to see all the different cards. Gives you a small peek of that person. I saw a cute thing on Martha Stewart that I'm going to do for this year. And when I get back from Maryland, going to work on the first one and see how it can be improved. I won't be scrambling this year to get them mailed in time. I'll probably get them made and then forget where I put them :p
Thanks again to all who participated and to Isabel for organizing it all! May 2008 bring great things to you all. I'm treating it as a fresh start. The bad things of 2006-07 are, for the most part, behind me. Except for a few bittersweet memories. I'm hoping this year will be so much better. I've got so many things to be thankful for. Bless all of you. This is such a wonderful place.
