You are not the only one. lol Seems most people from PT really want to meet him then my BEST friend who Nanook & I haven't seen in years & years wants to see him too & we will be visiting her for a few days after the meeting. She REALLY wants to see him. :)Quote:

There are a lot of IF's though but the main thing is how he is doing at that time. IF he is doing good then then he will come. I've already gotten offers from others to help watch him at the park as he would need to be kept away from rowdy dogs so he doesn't get hurt.
YAY!!Quote:

I get teary eyed just thinking about how much Nanook would love it there. He REALLY digs other people & pets. He is such a total love bug, not ONE mean bone in his body & he LOVES attention & parties & the such. I can just see the happiness in him just thinking about it. It brings tears to my eyes.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) To you and that sweet Nanook.Quote:

My dad said I can come but I'm still trying to find out where I'm going to stay. He wants to drop me off in OH and drive to MI. Don't know if I'll be coming or not.
I'm so glad so many people are able to come!!! Can't wait!!
The fenced doggie area of the park is so big Nanook could easily stay away from the doggers being rowdy. There's even a "time out" cage, too, or he could hang out up at the pavillion with the people, too. Of course it will depend on how he's feeling at the time, we understand that.
Wow! What gorgeous puppers! Yep, Gabbie is a merle. And I just met another lady with an absolutely beautiful harlequin dane puppy at the Findlay dog park on Thursday! I'm hoping she will come, too. I'll keep an eye out for her in the next few weeks. Last year, Dakota (4-dog mother's grandog)was also at the picnic & led all those crazy huskies on a wild goose chase! Not sure if she'll make it this year.Quote:

:D This is going to be a great pic-nic! If any of you out of towners would like to get together in Findlay for dinner or something Saturday night, pm me, ok? Not sure when anyone's arriving, but I asked for Sat. night off work, just in case.
Count us in on that! I'd love to meet him. Hope he's feeling up to it. :)Quote:

Ever since moving to Kentucky I've been hoping I'd get a chance to make it up to one of the infamous meetings... looks like this may be the one :D I talked to my better half, he seemed excited about it, so you can most likely count us in! We have been planning on taking a camping trip up in Ohio anyway, so why not do it that weekend? :D It feels good to be posting on PT again and I hope I get the chance to meet some of you!
BTW, I know this isn't the right thread to start this in, but we've got a new addition since I was last on PT. Meet BUTLER :)
I am actually from Wharton, its about 15 miles south of Findlay. I go to the Pet Supplies Plus every other weekend to get dog supplies, and go shopping no and again. I am not a member of the dog park just yet. I just actually found out about it last week. I would like to become a member, I am looking into it. That would be great to meet for a playdate, when I am a member. Weekends would be best for me.Quote:

Your dogs are gorgeous. I didn't realize we there was a dane breeder so close!
My neighbors son has a black one that he rescued. He is breathtaking as are yours.
PM me anytime.

Heidi, this is the link Phred put up about how to get a permit. probably a good idea to get it by computer & mail, as the park dist. office is closed on week-ends :( Can't wait to meet you & your danes!Quote:
