Cats, of course, would have no need for an obedience test - most would just stare at the tester as if to say "Who are you to order ME, and what are you talking about?" http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif[/B][/QUOTE]
LOL, Karen! I think it would be more appropriate for the cat's humans to be required to take an obedience test!
"How many times do I have to tell you, that's MY window sill!! No plants! >>knocks plant off<< Bad human!!" http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Well I think Daisy will be in trouble in Pettalkville before she gets there in the obedience thing. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif She turns her head and walks away when I call her, she pretty much does whatever she wants, she plays when she feels like it, she has the run of the house, she jumps on her brother when he is sleeping, she is strong minded, very independent, loving when she feels like it and I wouldn't have her any other way. Her brother, Perry, on the other hand, is very obedient, I think he would be a shoe in. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

jackiesdaisy, I don't think anyone said they have to pass obedience class!!! They just have to have "attended" and I am sure that you have Homeschooled Daisy! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
Most of us I think like the town that we live in - we just want all the pet lovers in one town!

Oh nooooo. I had a really "cool" reply and it got lost because when I hit submit reply, it said I had more than 8 (something or others) and cleared my reply!! It was long, too! Oh well, can't tax my brain again in such a short time, so I guess I will let it go unsaid, but just suffice it to say that they were wonderful words of wisdom ROTFL!!!! Take my word for it! LOL http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

Sammi, I have been trying to home school Daisy for three years by way of the leash, treats, good girl, bad girl, when I tell her to come to me and she won't I even pick her up and carry her over to me and sit her there and she looks at me like I'm crazy. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif
Then I have to laugh. You can see I'm no good at training. I guess I could be the head Gramma who spoils all the pets and Daisy can be the head Spoilee.

LOL LOL How did I miss this topic earlier!! Wow, what a wonderful place Pettalkville would be!! Pettalkville "A Utopia for pets and the happiest place on earth!" :D
Can't forget the TV aspect of it all. All those stay at home dogs would be sitting watching "In the Doghouse" the daytime soap opera and can't forget those classics like "9 Lives to Live" and "As the Wheel Turns" the hamsters eat that one up! LOL
I think I would want to be the dog and cat behaviorist. I would give classes and information on dog and cat behavior and the history of these great pets!!!
-
Hahaha!! Wolflady, I love your view of our furry couch potatoes!!! What great "soaps" for our feline and canine, as well as hamster pets!!!! Don't think I could have all of mine in the same room in my real world (with 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 hamsters), but maybe in Pettalkville, it would work! :D
-
LOL Wolflady, those are great!

I tell you what, I really wish I could escape to Pettalkville right now with all the stress here at work and personally :( It's fun to talk about this!! hehehe Oh, the possibilities!!! Maybe if we all banned together, we could buy and island and make Pettalkville a reality?? Hey, it could happen! LOL
Ok, besides the animal behaviorist, I would have a side business in the evening...an animal night club!!
We would have drinks and music and of course...games!!! LOL :D I would have one of you mural painters come and paint a huge mural on one of the walls in the game room...hey, dogs playing pool! HA!

I want to write the gossip column in the local newspaper.
