Anyway, seems all the pictures I have here at work, we have our sunglasses on and they're not really closeups at all, but here you go.
This me & Terry on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland when we were there in May. It was a work thing for Terry so that's why he looks so "professional."

And I guess we don't have our sunglasses on in this one, but it's kind of far away. Anyway, this was in the Alps in Switzerland. I guess you can rent these cool little cars in Interlaken then drive them around in the Alps. We didn't do that, but the girls that did let us check it out. It was the coolest little car. The people standing around are some of Terry's colleagues from Germany.

Better? :D
Oh, and if anyone would just read all the posts here on PT, you are all the most beautiful, caring people, so I don't understand where all this "ugly" talk is coming from either.
Yes, much!;)Quote:

I agree, everyone on here is beautiful!
That picture of Lake Geneva is breathtaking! Amazing picture. :)
You guys look cute too! :D
Thanks. Switzerland really is beautiful, especially the "Bernese Oberland" area which is where the alps are. It's kinda funny, because when you're there, it's like "Oh well, just another mountain." But then you catch yourself doing that, take a step back and reallylook at what you're seeing, and it definitely, absolutely takes your breath away. I love it over there and would go back in a heart beat. Hopefully Terry has to go back again next year for work and hopefully he'll be able to drag me along again. ;) :) He actually works for a German company, but the company is in Lorach, Germany which is right on the German, Swiss, French border, and they always try and break up the business with a little site seeing, so it's not unusual to head into Switzerland or France for a quick trip. Last year we spent some time in the Black Forest of Germany too, since Lorach is right there also. Beautiful country.Quote:

Oh, and the one time we were way up in the Alps (forget the name of the town right off hand) but there were no cars allowed, jut a neat, small, historic little alp village. We were walking around enjoying the view when what do I see if front of me but..the grandfather from Heidi!!! There was this old man, walking with a cane, with a long beard...he looked exactly like I picture the grandfather looking. I wanted to take his picture, but I didn't want to intrude on his privacy or anything like that. However, if I ever see him or similar again, I will definitely ask if I can take a picture. Oh, and when we were in another little alp town, here come the cows, right down the street! They were bringing them down from the alps for the winter. They decorate the cows and it was so neat to see them in the street with those big bells hanging around their necks. They make a celebration out of it, and the cows have the right of way. The cars have to wait. I love it! :)
Here's one of me and the pups together...not the best pic but oh well, it was either this or find all the stuff for my scanner hook it up and post a pic of me running in a trial on the weekend with Smudge. I'll got with the bad pic :D
