8. I hitchhiked across Scotland because I missed the last train from Edinbourgh to Glascow.
9. I hitchhiked from Halifax Nova Scotia to Quonset Point Rhode Island to meet my ship.

13. We usually Vacation at the Beach and the Mountains, I prefer the mountains.

16. When I quit smoking 30 years ago, I ate so many carrots I started turning Orange. No Patches or Gum in those days.
17. I tried owning a business once. I was a Motorcycle dealer for 5 years. Yamaha & Suzuki.
17. My first girlfriend at 13 looked me up on facebook 55 years later.
18. I don't like jewelry of any kind. My father was a Manufacture Jeweler.
19. I prefer 50's and 60's oldies music, especially Do Wop, but i also love classical and Bluegrass.
20. I lead 2 Mt bike Expeditions across Colorado back to back. 10 days each.
21. My favorite month is October.
22. I subscribe to Netflix and watch 4-5 Dvds a week and some instant
watch movies using my Media Computer.
23. I have no unusual fears or phobias.
24. I'm a car freak and have owned a lot of collectible cars, my favorite was a Plum purple 70 AAR Cuda.
25. I ran away from home at 17 and have been on my own since. That was 51 years ago.
26. My father and I made up when I was 25. He died on my 44th birthday.
27, When I was around 27 I was working full time, going to school full time and was a Scout Master on the side.
28, I love all auto racing with my favorite being The World Rally series.

I finally got around to doing this...
1.I love being a wife and mother more than anything on earth

5. My wedding date is a family tradition. 4 wedding and 3 birthdays in my family are on July 17.
6. We payed cash for the first house we bought, also at 18
7. I have a phobia of talking on the phone.
8. I managed a really awesome pet boarding facility for just under 6 years. I loved every minute.
9. I also used to do both pet and wildlife rescue. I gave that up when my son was born, but I plan to go back to it when he's a little older.
10. I want more than anything to have another baby.
11. My son has ectopic pupils and his eye doctor believes he may have albinism
12. I love to cook. I'm not too great at it, but I'm not bad at it either.
13. I love photography and wish I had more time (and money) to invest into it.
14. I've wanted chickens nearly my whole life. I was hoping to get some this year, but my husband, my father-in-law, and my dad are planning to build me my dream chicken coop this year so I'm putting off getting chickens until next year.
15. Our UPS delivery man knows way too much about us. He always seems to get into a conversation about our reptiles with my husband.
16. My eyes have been really bothering me lately. I need to go to the eye doctor, but my phobia of phones (see #7) has kept me from making an appointment. My husband will probably end up making an appointment for me.
17. I also have a phobia of doctors, any kind. (Another thing keeping me from making the appointment in #16)
18. I love coffee. I drink decaf most of the time as I don't like the way caffeine makes me feel. I usually have a cup in the morning and another in the afternoon.
19. Other than coffee I normally only drink water and milk
20. I hope to one day have goats
21. I've been getting riding lessons from one of the girls who boards her horses here.
22. My son loves horses more than anything and I expect he'll show an interest in riding when he's a little older
23. I HATE to travel.
24. I much prefer cold weather to hot, not a good thing when living in Florida.
25. I have loved birds since I was a little girl. I love watching wild birds outside and I love my pet birds too.
26. We have a few bald eagles around here and see at least one almost daily. They like to land in our field.
27. I lived in western NY until I was 13, then my family moved to FL, I've lived here ever since.
28. My favorite food is salmon
So interesting - and a very diversified group indeed. And I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only medical disaster here. Hope all of you are doing as well as I've managed to do for almost a year now! :D I'm disproving my brother when he says I'm a disaster waiting to happen!! :eek:
