A dear friend (decades long friendship) has had a stroke. At this point I’m not sure how mild or severe. :(

Prayers for everyone is the path of this storm. There are power lines and trees down in Watertown (next town over, a mile away) and another friend's home is flooding with water pouring in under her front door.

I always pray for our little chihuahua

My mom took a trip by ambulance to Emerg yesterday morning. She was sent to Emerg at one other hospital a couple of weeks ago for a a precautionary reason. She got all the bells and whistles - blood work, ekg, CT scan of head, x-rays - and all are negative.

Her Parkinsons is again causing her BP to drop when she stands up. Last night the chief neurologist and a resident came in and the chief neuro was horrified that Mom had not had ANY meds all day, including the Sinimet which is essential for Parkinsons. That meant she had not been able to eat all day either. :(

Anyway, I am off to see her and will feed her cat along the way.

Asking for prayers for her. Selfishly also for me as this is very very stressful and I want to be the best I can.

I saw Mom today and she was a million percent better! And they haven't even put her on the new BP meds yet!

I am sure she is in for a long stretch of feeling much better!:D

Nanette has been in the hospital this week. Her mother told me this morning that Nan was being transported from the hospital to her home, and beginning hospice care.
My heart is breaking - for her husband, mother, other family members. But for me, too. She's the best friend I've made as an adult. But, I don't want her to just live in agony forever. :(

Many prayers for those on the East cost. thats one whopper of a storm...

And prayers pleae for the neighborhoods North of Boston with the explosions and fires.

Prayers please for a local family. Their dog Nora was hit by a car, and ran into the woods. The person who hit her stopped and told the family. She is only three, but has medical issues before L & C adopted her. Kermit and a friend were out calling for her, and walking through the woods looking for her, and encountered others doing the same. We hope she is found and is not badly injured. She is terrified of the vet, and hates car rides, so L is hoping nobody like a tourist saw her and picked her up, thinking they were doing a kindness.

Prayers that she is found, please.

And prayers for all the farmers in Nebraska facing those devastating floods.

I have a request. My brother’s boss is Andy. Please say a prayer or think a caring thought for Andy and his family- his son (20 years old) died in an accident. His funeral was this past week. Andy and his family are members of my church, so this is very sad news. I saw an announcement in the order of worship but i wasn’t aware of the circumstances.

I took a fall yesterday and broke my right forearm. I’m right handed. I’m in a cast and probably will need surgery to ultimately fix it. :(

Yowch, better Sir Jury now than later! I just tripped over the pup, who was directly behind me when I was paring strawberries, I turned and fell over him. Thankfully neither of us was hurt too badly. Sigh.

Surgery is over and I’m home again. More good news, a close family friend received encouraging news about her health today. An answered prayer!
