Yep, tomorrow Angel goes in. Well, I take her in the afternoon and they do the surgery Tuesday morning. Then they will call and let me know how she is doing and she can come home Wednesday morning. I have a dr appointment myself in the morning or she would have had to go in then.
I can hardly stand the thought of them cutting that sweet little tummy open. :( Watching her play and knowing what is coming makes me tear up.
I know it has to be done for all our sakes but she is so young and little compaired to the others. :(
There are times I just want to lock myself in the house with them and never come out. ;)
Grandma says thanks again for all the prayers and luvies. She ate a nice snack this afternoon and supper. She seems back to her normal self. She just so seldom throws up, it worried me.
Prays coming for Angel, I'm sure she will do just fine, it's always scary when they go through a procedure.
My prays are coming for you and her,
Melissa
I always think these things are harder on you than they are on our cats.
Moff, she will be just fine - maybe sore for a day or two - but she is young, healthy and will heal in no time. I bet a week from now she will be getting into something new and you will be groaning. She will have forgotten completely about her surgery.
Nonetheless, a prayer or two wouldn't hurt - I will offer some!!
:love::love:
Thinking of little Angel. Some kitties come home acting as if they never had surgery..hope she manages to take it easy on herself! ;)
So glad that Grandma is feeling back to normal. Best wishes for a happy houseful of healthy kitties and hoomin!:D:love::love::love:
Thank you all!!! It's just she is so small compared to the others. Usually, I don't get a girl cat until she is pregnant. I've never had one so young spayed. The boys, neutered young, yes, but not a girl kitty!
The vet was really busy and there were about 7 BIG dogs in the waiting room. Angel never said a thing but her eyes were as big as silver dollars.
She will get to come home Wednesday Morning at 9:30. :D
It was sure hard to leave her there. The house is awfully quiet.
Before you know it, all the tummy fur will grow back. There might be a little scar that you can feel during tummy rubs, but no other reminder. And of course, PEACE OF MIND (at least where "getting in trouble" is concerned).
Your little baby girl is becoming a WOMAN! Truly a bittersweet moment.
Prayers for our precious Angel girl and her meowmie
Aw, sweet little girl. I know how hard it is on you. They're so little and sweet. She has so many people praying for her that she's all prayed up for all of her nine lives and then some!
I know I'm praying for her!:love: It worked for Winnie so it will work for her daughter!
I can't believe how quiet the house is. Even with Winnie still here playing. I hope when Angel comes home, Winnie doesn't smack her around like she did when Angel had her virus and vet visit. Thank you all again for the prayers and well wishes.
Many prayers from all of us that sweet little Angel comes back home better than ever!
No word on Miss Angel yet but it's still early and the vet had several surgeries today.
Thought you might enjoy my morning adventure though.
I was sitting in my big chair this morning. Suddenly I heard a loud ringing/buzzing. I have been battling an ear infection so at first I didn't pay it any mind.
It got louder and woudn't stop. I went into other rooms. No noise. I walked around outside the house. No noise. Back in the front room, loud annoying noise!!!
I unplugged everything electric and made sure everything was off. Still noise continued. It sounded like it was coming from the ceiling crawl space to me. So I called a electrician.
They came and couldn't find what was causing it either. They turned off power to the entire house. Noise still continued. They called for advise from their boss. He said it could possibly be cable or telephone lines. They were getting ready to go outside and disconnect those to see if noise stopped.
The youngest guy (and the one with the best hearing of all of us) went behind my chair. He kept swearing the noise was coming from there somewhere.
"I found it!" he yelled. He dove under my chair and pulled out an old electronic poker game I've had for years. Apparently Winnie had knocked it off a stand this morning and broke the on/off switch. It was squawking!!!
How embarrassing!!! :o But I am so glad nothing was shorting out in my house wiring or anything.
Wasn't it nice of God to keep me distracted so I wouldn't worry about Angel this morning? ;) :D
Of course, when I get the bill for an emergency service call, I may not feel quite so blessed.
Just got the phone call: Miss Angel is awake and keeping a sharp eye on all the goings on at the vet's clinic. She can come home tomorrow morning. YAY!
YAY FOR ANGEL!!! I'm so glad everything went smooth. Can't wait for you to be able to bring her home. Thanks for the update. And your morning adventure was hilarious. Thank goodness it wasn't something dangerous!!
