Daisy here. Way to go on the Whopper! Those are good! That reminds me of a story...
My Mom's lil' sister Rachael was nine when they first 'dopted me. One day, she was eatin' Peeps. Ya know what Peeps are? They're lil' yellow marshmellow chicks that people eat at Eeester. Well ennewayz, Rachael was runnin' down the hall and bein' the clutz that she wuz, she falled down right irn the middle of the hall with the Peep still in her mouth. She opened her mouth reaaal wide to cry, and I saw that lil' yellow Peep in there lookin' at me. Well ya can't just let a Peep go to waste! So I walked up to her cryin' onna floor, daintilly picked the Peep outta her mouth, and walked away to eat it. Well she stopped cryin' real fast and just started laughin'! So did Mom and Grandma, they all saw it. Mom is laughin' as I tell it right now. She says maybe it's one of those stories where ya gotta be there to think it's funny. I didn't think it was funny, just good that I got a Peep!
As for burgers, I've stolen tons, and once there was a good deal at McDonalds and Grandma could buy tons o' burgers for real cheap, and I got my own!
Another food stealin' insiddint: the other day I saw that someone had left my huge box of marrow bones open inna laundry room where my stuff is kept. Well I didn't want them to go stayle or ennythin', so I ate 'em. Mom says she bets there was maybe 50 bones left in there. I ate 'em all 'fore Grandma came in and caught me. I didn't even get sick!
Those are all my food stories for now! Hehe. Oh and Mom sez to tell ya that she took a whole roll of pictures of me and got good ones. She's gonna beg Grandpa to fix the skanner and then you will all be bombarded with my 'dorable face everywhere!
Love Ya All,
Daisy Mae

Thank God I'm in the office alone right now cause the Peep story was HYSTERICAL!!!!!!! I can totally picture it..just too FUNNY!!!! It's one of those great moments that are etched in your mind forever and make you giggle in bed before falling asleep.. or when you're stopped at a red light, or soaking in the tub....I love that!!
-
LOL glad you love it! I have always gone totally hysterical just thinking about it. It's one of my family's best memories with Daisy. Oh if only you saw it happen... LOL! I am laughing all over again now...
-
Hannah here. Mom is laughing so hard she can't even speak. Between the Smokster and Daisy, you got her cracking up. I don't have any stories to share cause Mom loves her yummies and don't take any chances with me and Tucker around. In fact it's ME that's got to watch our for HER. Them treats that Graham brought for me and Tucker when he came to visit are kept in the refrigerator and I swear she keeps looking at them every time she goes in there.

Hey Cinder and Smokey and all my pals! StarBuRSt here! How are all my dawggie pals? Seems we all been outta touch lately, what wif spring chores, lotsa sad news onna Pet Talk and such. Wanted all a yuz to know I been thinkin bout yuz. Cinder, Smokey...Boy, you two have been some buzy dawgs, what wif nites wif Dad atta fire house, sleepovers at Callie's, and best of all, doin all yur wonerful therapy work wif G-Mom and her friends! Wif all dat nail chompin and fur sudsin and such, you two must be the purrrtiest pups in town! Not too sure bout that ZAppER necklace though! Youch! Mom says there ain't no number high enuf to keep me from yappin! Best part must be stayin at the dawggie motel! Did the picture tube have Animal Planet??? Did yuz get yer own remote? I heard yuz both had a double sized snoooozin sack all to yerselves! WOW! Therapy work sure does sound like fun. Hope the nice folks ata sleepover house welcome yuz back. That sure would make it eazier on yer Dad. Yuz two kids sure do put us to shame! My mom's one a the white pants ladies too, and she says it's so special what yuz two are doin to make so many kindly folks smile and get a taste a home! Yer G-Mom sounds like such a nice lady. Just like yer Dad. Next time plant a sloppy wet one onna face for me and the Codster. We'de love to do therapywork like yuz guys. But mom's says were a bit too frisky and the nasty sekurity man would throw us out on our tails real fast. Me and the Codster girl talked it over though, an we think yuz two outta be nominated fer Dawgs of the Day. Tell Dad. Those pics of yuz two sure are sweet! So what have I been up to?? Well, wif the openin of Sparky Pond (my private waterworld) I been doin lotsa swimmin wif my water toys. The Cody girl doesn't like the wet stuff, so mom makes her play life guard. But no worries. Us labbies were born to paddle!!! I also been doin lotsa gardenin, helpin mom dig holes. It's every dawggie's duty to dig, dig dig!!! I try my best to live up to the calling. From my mom's bug eyes, I think I'm doin a pretty good job! Comin from the north land, Cody don't take much to sun and so she mostly finds herself a nice cool dirt bed and snoooozes the day away. Hey, Cinder. Sometimes mom takes us to the burger hut (on our birthday) and we get some fry stiks and a burgie too! Sure does go down easy. And the nice lady at the money store dishes out free krunchies when we drive up to the glass! Imagine, a shiny metal box filled with krunchies just for dawgs like us! Did you hear bout the sleepover Graham had with Hannah and Tucker? Auntie Rachel sure was kind to share her hut with Graham and all. I wanted to go to, but mom said we hadda wait for an invite! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif Still, I keep my overnite bag packed just in case. Oh, did I mention, we have family in Cinnncinnnatti?? http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif Now, you know we got the new klaw kid OlivePItster here. Well, does this kid keep things hoppin. Always into everything and everyplace. The dish scrubbin door, the flusher bowl. Mom even found him inna crisper drawer inna ice box when she was cleanin! Now, she may not like my confessin fer her. But I know she wants to get it offa her chest. Well, maybe yuz two saw the pic of Ollie man inna dryer box. Seems the kid loves to nap wif a warm stuff. Well, mom's been extra careful a checkin if the kid was in there. But...you got it Smokey. Seems he slithered in there inna a sec while mom was loading the hooomin covers. Mind you, mighta only been for less than a minute. But it took a few seconds a hearin the "thump, thumP" before mom, (screamin and freakin) had a hankerin a what the noise was an opened the door. There he was. Alive and well and all. Just a bit furFRaZZleD and eye balls rollin an all. Mom sat onna floor wif the kid and check every hair and toe and EVERYTHING, cryin and huggin and kissin. Geeeez. She didn't let go a the kid ALL DAY! Still hasn't stopped the nut case from tryin again! Did I tell ya? Mr. B, the senior klaw man got his annual chop/chop atta kitty salon. They call it the LiON CUt!! As like in ROOOOOOOAAAAR! Heee, heee! He sure looks funny. Only furclumps left are 'round his neck and these poooofy things around his feet! Tonight mom's gonna give the RAT man, Squeekers, a BATH! Me and the Codster consider this big time entertainment time http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif Good Luck MOm! Seems he gettin a bit oily and slick from all that pettin and brushin and such. That Squeeker boy sure does like the Oliveman. They sit there a cooin and wheeekin and purrring to each other all day. Squeeks thinks they're pals. But I know. Oliver man's really thinkin...One a these days, LUNCH! Just kiddin. Oh, and I saved the best part fer last. Guess what happened to mom today. Well, she's out there diggin and squirtin wif the water snake and suddenly, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Never heard mom talk so loud; never heard them words before either. She went a runnin inna house and grabbin the frozen water blocks and schreeechin and cryin. Seems those little yellow flyin critters that the Cody girl loves to catch outta the air (and go down real easy for Cody) stingered mom right inna eye cover! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif She's been hurtin all day and me and Cody been tryin to be good. But mom, it's been HOURS!!! I gave her a big kiss so she SHOULD be better soon! Well, that's all fer now. Check out some a my summer pics below. Sure wanna know bout all yer doins and goins and such. Woof for now! Love Star, Cody, Mr. B and OlivepItster

Miss Sandra (our mom says we have to call you that), we can't believe you got a sting on your eye thingy. Whew!! That must have hurt bad! Our mom read us your message and then she told us that a few years ago, when she was cuttin the grass, she got those yellow thingies on her too! This happened way before we were born, but our "brother", Chuck, who was yellow like Star, was out there in the yard with her, and they both got stung real bad, lots of times. She says that isn't a good thing, so we're real sorry you had to have a fight with those yellow flying things. Whew! Hope you're ok.
We think your pond sounds really cool. Tonight we got to go swimming in a pond with some ducks, but they all swam away. Wonder why??? Our mom keeps us on those horrible ropes and we can only go so far and then we have to turn around and swim back to her. She said we smelled like duck poop when we got out, and when we got home, she made us take a bath!
We kind of laughed about that Oliver boy in the dryer, but our mom said we shouldn't do that. See, we wouldn't fit in there, but we think it would be funny if our bad boy brother, Butter, tried that trick. Mom says she is glad Oliver is ok! But she would have been pretty upset too if it had happened here. Why do you ladies freak out like that???
Anyway, we're pretty tired from our walk. Our mom actually let this hot, tired, bird dog follow us home and come in our yard tonight. Can you believe that?? It drank our water and ate our food. But when Mom went inside to get some more food, that dog jumped right over our fence and took off. We think she was real scared. Mom tried to catch her, but she never did. We think it would be pretty neat to have another dog around, but our mom said she was NOT going to keep another dog, she was just trying to help this one, who must not have a mom of its own.
Anyway, we're off to sleep now...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Night Star, Cody, Smokey, Cinder and the rest of our friends.
Love, Honey and Lilly

Hi, Star*ShIne! Cinners & SmokeMutt here ~
Sorre bout the Fridee puter fritz*up ~ doncha jest hate http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/mad.gif it when the puterbox goes out ta lunch like that? Luv ta have ya visit, but wunt the Codster anna Olive+Pit miss ya?
We had a great weekend planned, but Sundee got a lil krazee an things changed a bit. We wuz all redde to leave for GranMom's whenna fire beeper went off wiffa message frum wunna Dad's buds that his two (reelee BIG) Newfundland dawgs had jumped their fence Saturdee nite an still wurnt back home. We packed up and drived round the hood fer an hour or so lookin. Drivin past the Newf's house the Missuz pulled in from a search run, so Dad pulled in ta see iffin she had em inna van. Nope. She thought she hearded their barks fromma house down street, but dint know the folks an was skairt to go up be herself ~ wuld Dad go wiff her? Shure, jump in. Then her eyeballs started leekin real bad an she runned inna house. Fire bud camed out then so's he jumped inna kar and we all went down to check it out. Nice guy; his dawgs barkin; no Newfs inna area. Nutz! We all started drivin round the hood again; Bud an Dad boff lookin and stoppin everwhere there wuz Hoomins outside. Got to be wunna klok (we're two hours overdue in Picksberg) so's we take the Bud back to the Newf's ranch. Dad goes in fer koffee.
Next they comes flyin outta house an jump inna Newfmobile an fly outta the drive onna *hot tip* sighting. Nudder two hours go by; me anna Smoke nappin in our kar inna rain drizzel. The boyz comed back, footpawz all muddie, no Newfez inna van. Dad goes back inna house ta gulp the koffee he nebber got; comes out wiffa flier we're gonna post atta store in towne an we head for G-Mom's.
Stop atta store; luckee break ~ Dad shuts the kar off ta go in. Comes back out, turns the go-lever anna kar jest *kliks* ~ won't krank. Dad sez a buncha *nawtee* wurds; but I minded him iffin we hadent played search fer the Newfz the dum kar wudda quit in Picksberg http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif steada rite near the Home Ranch.
Nudder Fire Bud cumz ta try a fix. Coupla hours of smakin the starter-thingie wiffa hammer an liftin up the fronta the kar wiffa jack an they managed ta *trick* it inta runnin, but it won't do it wiffout two hoomins anna skrewdriver anna jumper. Call G-Mom an say sorree, no visit taday http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif. Kar got dumped atta kar-fixer's joint an we sit in fronta the boob-tube stead of rompin round the Village wiff Grams. NUTZ!
Onna way back frum dumpin the busted kar the Newfee's Dad pages allu fire guyz an sez the Newf's got spotted next door ta where the furst *hot tip* said they wuz erlee inna mornin (rite next ta where the boyz spent two hours stompin thru the wet woods; hehehe http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif). Their Mom went an picked em up. Ebberbudde home safe an sound ~ jest a liddel tuckered out.
Mundee we satted inna ranch house waitin fer the fixer ta call. (Bye the way - do y'all know jest how BAD daytime TV *sukz*)? Wachin Dad fix radideos is alot better than wachin TV! We gotz the kar back tuday at noonakolk.
Star*BuRst ~ the gurlz in our munnie store pass out biskits, too! We hate it when Dad getz inna rong line an hazta play wiffa robot ta get our munnie - it nebber handz out munchies like the gurlz alluz do!
And how bout the liddel Pitt*Man riddin round inna skinz hot-box fer a hole MINNIT? Wow! Boots onlee rode around fer a kupla *klunkz* fore Dad stopped his ride. Didja get a kamra shot of him "After"?
Anna Baff fer the RatMan!!!? That'd be like Dad tryin ta give Mister Boots a baff! How mennie *toof markz* did he give yer Mom?
Be sure ta give yer Mom sum *schlurrpie kissez* after her battle wiffa *yeller*stinger*buzzerz*. Dad's lergik ta them things an hazta take a pill iffin he gets chomped on by jest wun of them nastee things! Anna stinger inna eye cover wud make Dad swell up http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif lika basketball.
Hey ~ Honoe*Buket an Lilly ~ Where ya been? All youse guys getz ta go swimmin an all we get is wander round inna kold raindropz!
Wade a minnit - Smokey here! Cinder goz swimmin allu time - an at the RONG times! Last week we wuz gettin redde fer a kar ride wiff Dad an ole CinDawg jumpz inna pond steada goin poddy like she's posed ta do. Comed bak wiffa black pondgunk all ober her furz, smellin like duk an fish poop! She got a fast hose baff (wiff kold wadder) and tied up onna time-out wall inna basement. Then I got stuck inna celler wiff her (cuz I hadda "keep her kumpanie") an Dad goes off wiffout us! Nice goin, Big Sis http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/mad.gif! Sure wish it'd warm up so's Dad will take us to the BigLake an I can try swimmin fer the furst time!
Good to hear frum you Kidz! Keep the Tails & Butts waggin an wigglin!

Hey Cinder and Smokey! We just woke up for our last time tonight....sure are hoping our mom goes to bed soon. But anyway, we wuz wonderin? You got that duckie smell too? We didn't think it was so bad, but mom kept on saying sumthin like "Honey, you smell like a duck, all the way up to your eyeballs". What in the world wuz she talkin about? Maybe there was a little black crud on Honey's neck and belly, but who cares??? Well, I'll tell you who, our Mom! Well, a good hosin took care of it, and Honey got to come inside anyway. Thank goodness, we don't have one of those basement things, so we don't have to get tied to any walls or nuffin like that.
Well, I'm signing off for the night, you guys, but it sure was good to hear from you. Sounds like things have been pretty citin around your house. Hope your truck is in good shape now so you can go see your grandma. I love to go to grandma's house, but Honey girl, she don't like it much.
Night, Night.

We furgot to tell the Saturdee storee ~
Dad feeds us urlee then gets out the brush an fluffs us up fore we ride downa Fire Station. Dad stops atta store an buyz a big bagga dawg biskits. We go in an Dad starts up allu fire truks an parks em outside inna http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif RAIN! (Not at all normal.) Summa the fire guyz come an they sweep the floor an get out tables an chairz. Dad putz the biskits inna big bowl onna table. Three Navy Reserve Gurlz sit down atta tables wiff form books an liddel blue tag-thingies. Hoominz start commin in wiff katz in portable jailboxes an dawgz on leashes. Uh-Oh ~ this is startin to look familiar ta last year http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/redface.gif. Yep ~ it's the annual Rabies SHOT Klinik the County Health Department puts on. TAKE ME HOME!
I start shout*barkin. Dad fixes that wiffa Zap! Collar cranked up ta 2 outa 3 onna Zap! dial. No more barkin frum me, but Dad jest opens up all the big doorz ta soften the barkin an meeeeowin from all the udder "guests" that are commin in. Smoke an Me get introduced to ebberbuddie as the *Host Dawgs* and we get tied ta the lil Jeepy Truk that's left inside cuz it's a convertable an got no roof ta keep the rain off. Dad parks the golf kart they're sellin tikits to give away next munth fer munnie next ta our Jeepy. SmokeMan an me jump inna kart an settle down onna seat ta guard it. Dad sez OkeeDoKee as long as we dont try ta bite ennie tikit buyerz.
Klinik's possed to start a wunnaklok. We got 75 dawgs an katz stacked three jails high raisin heck inna Station. It's half past wun whenna Vet Gurl calls an sez she wont be there till half past two cuz she's got a mergency dawg at her hopsbittel. I figger we got a Riot bout ta start.
Navy Gurl startz passin out biskitz. Dad sez letz start pre-registerin allu dawgs an katz so's we can jest give shotz reel quick-like whenna Vet cumz. Hoominz take it purdy well; anna dawgs start ta get quite whenna biskitz start flowin an eberbuddie getz ta know each udder. Vet Gurl shows up wiff her red facebones on, but nobody gives her a hard time cuz they know she's volunteerin her time fur the klinik.
Dad startz unwrappin the jabber stikz frum their child an adult-proof "easy open" (haha) sterril wrapperz an wunna the Navy Gurlz whatz a nusrse starts fillin em up wiffa medicine. Doc Lisa startz stikkin critters as they get drug up to the *shootin gallery*. We cleaned up the backlog inna bout 45 minnits, but new critters jest kept marchin in! Eben had three ferrets come in a open top box! Funnie lookin lil critterz - look lika kat whut got stepped on inna middel an sqwarshed out extra long. Wunna them guyz tried to take a *nip* outa Doc Lisa's handpaw, but she wuz too quick fer him an he missed!
Onlee had wun dawg that was a no-good biter. Doc had his hoomin drag him out to their kar an made the hoomin put him inna kar. Then they opened the door a liddel an let the mutt stick his toofs out the crack - then ole Doc ran round an stuck him inna butt http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif! She comed back inna Station mutterin "there's always gotta be one!"
Crowd started to thin out at four, so SmokeMan an I got down onna floor of our golf kart an hoped Doc Lisa wuld go fore they membered we hadn't got our *owchie-stik* yet. But Dad had a plan ~ we were bein saved till last.
After we got stuck (I think we got stuck - neeber wun of us felt a thing http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/confused.gif ), Dad asked Doc Lisa ta look at Smokey's bum leg.
Seems ever since the SmokeMan showed up onna front porch, he takes *spells* and starts hoppin round on three legbones. Tucks his right rear up an won't put any weight on it fer a few minnits. Then, just as quick as he tucked it up, he stomps it back down an starts runnin around like a deer wiffout a pain inna world! Dad has poked, prodded, flexed, wiggled, pulled, felt and messaged that leg an hip so much it's a wunder the Kid has any fur left on his back end! Neber got a flinch or whimper outa the Kid. He does his three-legged hop routine then jumps up on both hind legs and dances like a pogo-stick.
Doc Lisa kneeled down onna floor and felt his hip an then stretched out his legbone and felt that. "Oh, he's just got *ten wurds of DocTalk*, which means he's got a "trick knee". Here, feel this... "POP, pop". Dad turned http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif >green<. Smoke tried to give Doc a *schlurrrp*.
Dad finally managed to gasp out "What should we do?" Doc said he was so young that she wouldn't do anything unless it started to bother him. She said he's figured out how to hold it up til it pops back into place, and he doesn't seem to feel any pain either way. She said to watch over him and have it X-rayed if it starts to get worse or he begins to whimper as if in pain. She said the way he plays an rough-houses around wiff me is a purdy good indication it dusent bother him very much or very often. Smokey said he already had a zipper in wun tender spot an dint need a nuther wun!
With that over, ebberbuddie said G-bye an we putted the Fire Truks back inna Station and went back to the Ranch. Smoke's made it a point not to do his three-legged hop to often when Dad's lookin http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/wink.gif!
If enniebuddy knows of a Vet Site that talks about *Trick Knee* condition in dawgs, post the address for us to see, please.
It's late; Dad sez ta say G-nite an lets head fer the Ranch. So..., G-nite all you NawTeeDawgs, Katz, and Hoomin Folkz!

Phred and kids:
Here is a Web site that may help with "trick knees."
http://www.vetinfo.com/
My Golden girl Carina sends her best. She also had problems yesterday. The vet said she has a bit of arthritis and gave us something for the pain. I think she wanted to imitate me when I hobble around because of arthritis in my knee http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Hi all yew NawTeeDawgs ~ Cinder & Smokey here ~
Finally sum good newz - kar's runnin again so we go to Picksberg on Sundee; it's not rainen klawz an pawz; an we're goin to see *firewerkz* http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif tamorrow nite atta BigLake.
No rain means Dad jumps on Odd Job and eats grass tamorrow, then we go to sumthin called a regatta which finishes up wiffa firewerkz show. Dad sez we can go but we gotta stay back so's the booms an bangs don't hurt our lil earbones. Sounds neat, we think??
Star*BuRSt and Carina ~ tell yer Momz that Dad sez *thanks* fer the rite name for SmokeMan's trick kneebone anna hot links to the vet pages. Dad spent a lotta time surfin the puter for info on the kneebone problem, but thinks he isn't broke too bad cuz the sites all said iffin it popped back by itself it wusn' a reel bad case. We're gonna wait till it's time for my regelar shotz visit to have Doc Mike take a good look atta Kid's knee and tell us whut to do wiff it.
Hey *Star* ~ whut's the Lion Boyz loook like? We gonna get a piksure of em in their summer kutz fore it grows back out? Howz the Olive*Pittster takin the chop job onna furbonez? We can't imagin Boots Kat wiffa summer kut like that - he'd be in permanent hidin inna fallin wadder klozet fer fear we'd be laffin at him http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif!
Dad jest minded me ~ Whutz the wurd on yer Mom's puffie eyeshade? Kan she open her eyeballs OK, or do you an Cody have ta act as guide dawgz and lead her round? Sure hope she's gettin better an it's not painen her enniemore. Dad sez fer us to pass {{huggz}} and schlurrpies to her sinc it's not proper fer him ta do it http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/redface.gif hizself.
Gotta run - Dad needs ta buy sum desil juice for Odd Job tanite so's they kan eat the grass inna mornin.

Daisy here. Listen to what Mom did ta me last night. She took me inna car to drive 8 trash cans ta the bottom of the driveway (She is too layzee to walk them down there!) Plus she is a new driver and so she doz it all the time. So I was inna car with her and she unloaded all the cans and then drove back to the house and got out and went inside. She forgotted me! I sat inna car for a half hour before she came flyin' out of the house, 'pologizin' and givin' me treats. I was all mad for a while until it was time for bed, cuz if I am grouchy then she makes me walk upstairs instead of gettin' carried. Mom feels real bad and she sez to say she hopes that you don't think she is a bad mommy http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif Cuz I don't!
She made up for it today. She and her friend had a picnic in the field. They had pizza! And I stole the last 2 pieces. They said they was mad at me but they laughed anyway. Grandma yelled at Mommy and told her laughing at me wasn't gonna teach me good manners, but she couldn't help laughin' either when I came trotting home draggin' a pizza box! Mmmm, ya gotta love pizza!
You other dawgs been gettin' good weather? It's good here finally! I stay outside all day, sunbathin' onna porch steps and playin' with my friend Lucky. I love the summer!
Well I gotta go. Luv yas!
Slobbery Kisses,
Daisy

OMG! I just about fell out of the chair! I can just see Daisy sittin' in the car waiting for mom to get her! And I can see Bridget saying "Where's Daisy?" Ya know I did that once with Shaianne, I had worked 3rd shift the night before with like no sleep and when I got home to lay down she was throwing such a fit to got outside, I finally tied her out and couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and I set the egg timer for like 20 min, well I woke up 5 hours later and I was like "Where is Shai?" I am so used to her sleeping on my legs. Then it dawned on me and I was like "OH &*^)!!! She was ticked at me, she dug holes, she ignored me for awhile, but boy did she sleep the rest of the day!!!!!

WOW! I love to yap at them flying stars. But the Codster gets a bit skared and shakes an all. Bet ya hadda blaST!!!####***** http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif And there yer Dad goes agin, doin more good doggie deeds! What an assembly line wid all da dawggies linin up nose to tail fer der hiney sticks. What a nice vet lady to come an give her time to all the dawggies helpin to keep em feelin well and all. Codster takes it wid a smile. Me. I fight em toof and paw. Mom's gotta hold my paw and sing all mushy things inna earbone. Actually, I figger it's a good way a makin mom feel bad fer me and give me a krunchie morsel when we get home!
Well, it was NO-gO onna OliverPitMAn buzzer cut. Chopper lady says she don't like lionizin before the kids over 1 year as his fur might grow in even funnier lookin an it already is http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif But, he did get a baf an a kitty-cure (no polish) and he did kinda smell nice when mom let him loose inna house. The chopper lady said he did real good inna waterbowl and blow dryin an all, and made friends real nice wid a cute but skared little 12 week old wee one kitty inna cage next to him. But mom says she thinks he was mad at her cuz when he got home the poor little boy sat onna top a the stairs all night and didn't come down fer food, wah-wah, the pooper box or nuttin! Next day tho he was back to his ole triks. Forget to tell ya all. Before the Olivepit went to the salon, mom gave the RatsterMan Squeekers a tubbie too!! Wish I hadda paw on the picture box fer dat one! Seems the little man LOVED his tubbie. Mom puta wash rag inna bottom a da sink to keep his klaws from slippin case he temped an escape, sat him in, and started addin the warm water reeeeeeeel slow like. Well, the critter didn't move. But started purrrrin and coooooin and closin his eyes, like, well, he was likin it lots! Mom even made little pointy fur spikes wid da suds and me and Codster were crakin up big time. Took almost an hour tho fore the air blowin machine got the boy dry. Fer a little guy, he sure duz have a lotta fur! Now he's all smelly sweet just like the PitMan! Guess it won't be long fore me and the Codster gotta get inna line! Mom drags us inna outdoor water house. I go without a fuss.. Now Cody. She don't like all that soapy stuff and we kinda gotta stuff her in there. And thanks fer askin bout mom's eyeshade. She's all fine now. Doc gave her a stinger inna arm this time, and for long she was her ole self. Tho fer a while there she was lookin all red and puffy inna eye and face like when we akidentally give her a head butt http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif Geeeez. What's the big deal, anyway! Me and Cody spend hours chasin and catchin them yellow copters. They go down reeeeeel eazy. So how was all yer doin's since our last woof? Did ya like the regatti and StarBUrSTers?? How was G-MOM? Did ya member ta give her a lick from me and the Cody Girl?? Can't wait ta hear the Monday mornin report.
Carina...Sorry ta hear bout yer krikity jernts. My sister Cody got the hip dysplayshuh wif bad arteritis inna one hip. Hope ya feel better. But still remember. Ya gotta work it fer all it's worth inna treats and hugs and kisses end a things.
Daisy and Shai. My Mom's still laffin at yer tail Daisy. Shar, she did the same thing ta my sister Cody da utter night. Woke up widda "Oh No" an big eyeballs. Seems she left Cody out an shut da eyeshades fore fetchin her in. It was a reeeel long time. Cody didn't mind tho. She loves the cool night air an was snuggled all tight inna ball next ta da barn. Mom still felt bad and Cody got lots a "extras" for dat move. Weather here's been perfecto; lots a yeller rays fer sunnin and sleepin and swimmin. Ain't summer great!
Honey, Lilly. What a sight you two guys must be bein hauled in onna rope by yer mom when yuz swim out too far! I don't get duck stinky on me when I swim. But on a beach, me and Cody do love to roll on all dead stuff like smelly sea gulls, crabs, and dead fishys. Mom says it worse than gettin sprayed by the bandit critter and sometimes we dont get ta sleep inna big bed fer dayS http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
Well all. Gettin late. Time to catch some zzzzzzzzzz's Hope ya all hadda good weekend. Can't wait ta hear yer tails! Sleep well and nite-nite all! Love, woof and tails wags to all our pals from Star and the Codster girl.

Hey, all you guys out there, you should post some of your stories on this website.
http://www.baddogs.com/
Here's s description of the website.
Web Site Description
The Bad Dog Chronicles let Fido and Fifi share their misdeeds with other Net-connected canines and their masters. If you've ever had a furry doggie member of the family that's caused a ruckus or wrecked your belongings, you will have loads of fun reading about other owners' plights. Plus, you (or your dog) can add your own story, complete with damage total and a friendly reply from the four-footed Webmaster, Emily.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Puppies only a mother could love
If you've ever told anyone a funny story about your furry (or feathered, or whatever) companion, you'll enjoy the Bad Dog Chronicles a site devoted entirely to stories of dog derring-do. The stories are interesting, at least if you like animals, and the site's overall layout and design are good.
The stories are broken up into two groups, "best of the litter" and a catalogue of all submissions, and every story lists the date it was posted, the breed of dog involved (sorry, canines only here) and, where applicable, the monetary damage he wreaked. You can read the stories, or you can submit one of your own. And if you're only interested in reading stories about, say, dachshunds, you can use the site's search engine to custom-tailor your reading selection.
From a practical perspective, I suppose this site could theoretically be used to tell which types of dogs are the most destructive, or if you're considering a specific breed, you could maybe tell how the dog is likely to act out. (Dachshunds seem to dig a lot, which makes sense, considering that's what they were bred for.) However, the site was mostly intended just for fun, which reflects in the postings -- all written in first-person narrative from the dog's perspective.

I have been to that site and it is GOOD!! But you could be kept busy reading for a very long time!!!

Hey everyone.
We're up extra late tonight. But our Mom was gone almost all night, and now we don't want to settle down. We need to PLAY!!!
Our Mom and our sister, Helen, went to visit an old friend tonight. Remember Dexter?? He had a story on this Rescue site once upon a time. Mom found that little black puppy walking up the street, and she just had to bring him inside. We thought he was pretty cool, and he could have stayed here....but Dr. R said he would be a big boy and that mom ought to find a home for him. Well she did, and she and Helen get to go visit, but we never get invited. What's with that, anyway?
Mom and Helen told us all about it when they got home, real late (wayyyyyyy after Helen's bedtime). Dexter is a big, handsome boy, according to Mom. And he was very shy at first, and then he came running to mom. She always takes him a treat, but he hadn't seen her in a while and didn't know her right away. Dexter's dad, Mike, took Mom, Helen and our buddy, Hannah, for a ride in the mountains in his convertible. No room for Dexter in there, but when they got back, the human girls played in the hottub while Mike and our mom cooked dinner. She didn't even bring us any leftovers!!
But they were happy, and so we're happy. And our mom knows that Dexter is a very happy boy too! He can say "howdy". That's called "shake" at our house, and he knows how to do it with both hands too! He can sit, and lie down. He knows more stuff than we do! Mom said she took pictures and everything. If they come out ok, she's going to show them to you.
Well, all we know is that it would be a lot more fun if Mom took us wiff her when she goes visiting like that.
Well, Mom is calling and says we have to go to sleep now. Hope you all are having happy doggy dreams right now....
More later.
Honey and Lilly

Daisy here! Wow Honey and Lilly, Dexter sure is one lucky dog! And smart too. I wish Iknew how to shake. Mom tried to teach me before but I have bad balance and if she lifted up my paw, I'd tip over. She was laughin' so hard. I didn't think it was very funny.
Is it real hot at all your houses everybuddy? Cuz here in Massachoosits it's REAL hot. I haven't been doin' much of anythin'. I just lay onna cold tiles inna hallway and look real pathetic.
I had a real bad night last night. First of all Mom thought it would "do me good" to give me a cold shower. She doesn't seem to understand: water is never good. But she dragged me up into the shower and sprayed me down with cool water. Well I gotta admit I did feel a lil' better but I was still real mad! Later when I had dried off, Mom carried me upstairs as usual but instead of going to her room, she took me to Grandma and Grandpa's room. She explained to me her room was way too hot to sleep in and their room has something called air conditionin' that makes everythin' cooler. She grabbed a pillow and sheet and we plopped down onna floor. Well I was layin' there for a while when I remembered that Mom had given me a bath earlier. I got mad all over again and got up and gave her a nasty look, even though she was already asleep and didn't really care. Oh well, it was fun anyway. I decided to be mean and sleep in the walk-in closet instead. So I walked in there and flopped over and went to sleep. Well, I woke up at maybe three inna mornin' and decided I wasn't mad at Mom anyore so I tried to go see her, but someone had put a table cart in front of the door! See, Grandpa has a little cart with wheels that he keeps medikul sooplies on, and they always put in in the closet doorway before bed... I had forgotted that!!! So I freaked out and started makin' a big fuss, cryin' and howlin', but with that cart in front of the door, my voice was quiet! I didn't think anybuddy was gonna hear me and I started thinkin'... what if I had to live inna closet forever!? I got real scared and ept cryin', and then I heard a "bang bang bang" sound, the sound of Grandpa's hand hittin' the bed! He can't talk so that's how he tells Grandma he needs somethin'. She woke up and went to see what he wants, and I guess he musta pointed to the closet, and I howled, and the next thing I knew, the cart was moved and I was free! She and Grandpa got quite a laugh over it. I was all nerved up and woke Mom up to get kisses. She felt real bad she didn't hear me and gave me a big hug. I am not mad at her anymore. And I am lucky to be alive! You know how many dogs have prob'ly got forgotted inna closet!?
Well I gotta go eat some ice now. Keep cool, dogs!
Love,
Daisy
-
Good heavens, Daisy! First left in the car, then stuck in the closet.
-
Oh you poor sweet thing! What a scare you had! Lots of "everything is alright now" kisses and hugs! Cody would give ya a big licky too but he had a toof pulled today and is still kinda tired but OK.

Hi, it's me Hannah. Tucker and me had to go to see Dr. A. last week. First we get weighed. Dad was holding my leash we I was on the scale and Mom said he was making me weigh more, so she took the leash and I weighed a whole pound less. Wonder how she did that? Guess she's got a whole lot of tricks from when she gets on the scale herself. Then we go in the 'zamining room and Tucker goes first for his 'zam. Dr. A. keeps going on and on about what a good dog Tucker is ('cause he is so cooperative). Dr. A. says so many of the Cockers he sees can get pretty cranky, but Tucker is such a good dog. Them Mom chimes in that everybody that meets him says that. Humpf! Tucker just so relaxed up there on the table and getting his shots and his nails clipped and everything. Then it was my turn and I didn't want Dr. A. looking in my ears and my mouth so I had to do a lot of twisting and turning, and Mom holds me way too tight!!! I took the shots but when he was spraying that stuff up my nose, I really got mad. Then he's starting to cut my toenails!!! My groomer Cathy cuts my toenails. Don't need nobody else to mess with my feet. Then nobody said nothing about what a good dog I am. Mom got us some Frontline Plus and a big bag of Hills TD. The whole bill came to $297.00. Mom had to catch her breath at that one. It would have been more if'n I'd of cooperated and made stinkies before we left home, so I saved her $20.00. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif Dr. A. also told Mom I've got to lose some weight, and now there are no treats when we go outside for play and lessons and the nighty cookies are really small. Mom is on a diet too, so we are both pretty cranky. Friday my eyes were all red and watery and I was squinting a lot so Mom had to call the doctor's place again. Now I get some hunks of peanut butter twice a day. Seems a little extra crunchy. Yesterday, we got to spend a lot of time outside so I was so happy.
Honey and Lilly, Mom says I should ask you about your mom's new grass and what happened to it. I didn't see you saying nothing 'bout no grass in your post? Daisy, don't feel too bad about being stuck in the closet. One time Mom left me outside by myself while she and Dad when to the grocery store. I barked the whole time. Mom was surprised the POLICE weren't parked in front of our house when they came home. I gots to go now. I hope I can figure out how to get Mom to spend the day outside again today.
-
Oh my gosh Daisy, I can't believe it. I read your story last night before going to sleep and guess what??? I just accidently did the same thing to Shiloh!!! I ran into my closet to get a shirt then went out and shut the door behind me. I put my shoes on and went to my car. As I was getting ready to back out, I noticed I didn't have my sunglasses. I ran back in to get them and decided to kiss Shiloh before I left. Well she was nowhere to be found http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif I started calling her name then I heard scratching. I thought it was Reece scratching his crate but nooo, I listened carefully and tracked it down to my closet. She was only in there for about 5 minutes so she wasn't phased at all by it http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif
-
Since some of you dog people don't get over to the cat boards too much I thought I'd put a link here that you could read about cats who have accidentally been temporarily "forgotten" by their humans. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif They can sure get into heaps of trouble!
http://petoftheday.com/talk/Forum12/HTML/000157.html
-
Daisy here. Aw Hannah I hate gettin' my nails clipped too. So you also got some extra pounds? Eh, don't worry about it. Fat = happiness.
Pam, thanks for the link! I went there and laughed at all the kitties' problems. I don't like cats! GRRRRRRRRRR!
Love,
Daisy
-
Hey everyone.
I pushed Honey aside for this one. Man! I just read what my mom wrote about my weight problem. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/redface.gif I can't believe she said I am "pleasingly plump". I didn't say that...
Anyway, I guess I'm going to have to quit sneaking into Helen's room and eating that cat food. I just can't help it. All this time, I've been getting away with it, and then all of the sudden, my mom catches me, today, AFTER the vet called to tell her to put me on a treadmill! Whew! Hannah and Tucker, it sure was good to at least know that someone else is having to watch their pounds. Or poundage as my mom calls it.
Well, to beat everything, my mom and my sister, Helen, are leaving in the morning for a whole week! They're going to the beach, and they're going to see some of their friends and my grandparents and cousins, and aunt and uncles, but they're not taking us! Can you believe that? Mom says she is going to work real hard to find a place Honey and I can go next summer....but it just isn't fair. Mom says its at least better than going to the kennel like we used to have to do. I guess it is kind of neat that I get to sleep on my air conditioning vent, the way I love to. You guys like to do that???
Hey, Hannah. I noticed you asked about the grass. Well, uh http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/redface.gif we don't mention that too much anymore....Mom says she has given up! We figured the grass wouldn't grow in the shade anyway, so we just helped her till up the ground so she could plant some good shade plants there (that we'll probably dig up or lie in immediately after she plants them..hehehe http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/tongue.gif ). To tell you the truth, about half of what she had sodded is doing great, and the parts of the lower backyard that she sodded herself, with the leftover sod, look really good. Even Mom says that!! She waters it a lot, and we LOVE that. Honey and I like to eat the water that comes out of the sprinkler. But Mom won't let me inside after I do that. wonder why??
Well, Honey and I have been wondering where everyone has been. Cinder, Smokey???? Where are you? What about you, Merlin? Star, Cody, Daisy, Shai, Reece and the rest of you? It sure makes us feel better to hear your stories. We need to know that you have to deal with the same sort of neurotic stuff we do...our Mom is pretty loopy sometime. She already had that wet stuff on her face one time today...said something about leaving us. Can you believe that? She was crying over those mean ole cats too!
Oh. One more quick story before I go. Butter got in a fight yesterday....my mom was really worried about him. She kept calling and calling, and he didn't come home. Then she went looking for him after she heard a cat crying. That old boy had gotten himself mixed up with another cat (not Mimi), and had decided to pursue. He wouldn't come for Mom, so she left him out there in the neighbor's backyard. But when he did come home, he was pretty ugly. Has a small cut on his head and a slashed ear. Mom says he shouldn't be so aggressive. She had some operation to take care of that for him. Must not have worked. She even said that she wished she could keep him inside all the time....Fat chance with that. He destroys more stuff than Honey and I do!
Well, anyway, Butter is fine, just a little rough looking. Mom said he is going to be ok. I'd better go before my mama catches me on this computer. She thinks I'm sleeping! LOL!!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
Bye everyone. Send updates soon, Mr. Phred, Ms. Sandra, Ms. Rachel, and everyone else. Hurry!
Love, Lilly

Hi, All ~ It's me, Smokey talkin ~
Dad's been reel busy vestigatin a bad fire they Fire Guyz had inna house on the 12th - he had to spend a lotta time wiffa State Vestigator lookin fer whut started it, so we haven't been inna Shop to use the puter.
I'm talkin cuz the Cinder's purdy berrassed http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/redface.gif bout what she dun while we wuz Therapy Dawgin it at GranMom's place on the 10th. We wuz both inside fer g-nites and were inna lounge wiff G-Mom an Dad when a seekuritee guy came in to lock the outside door. He furgoted where we wuz layin an almost tripped over us when he turned round to leave. Kinda did a fast foot routine rite near Cinder. She thunk he was playin *footsie* wiff her so's she reached up an grabbed his foot shoe http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif. Bad move, CinderMutt! He thunk she bited him nasty-like, so he runned off an called the reel Kops, anna Amboolance, anna Manager. After the fur setteled, nunbuddie could find any toofy marks on him, but the nice Kopper guy hadda take a report. Dad had our rabies certificuts an Cinder wuz reel frendlee (gave a lotta *schlurrpz* to the Officer an wunna the Mediks), so that kept us outta jail. Bad news comed inna letter last week - we're not allowed back inna Health Center http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif. Dad sez we went way past bein NawTeeDawgz - now we're jest plain ole Bad Dogs!
Kinda bummed us out when Dad went to see GranMom last Sundee an hadda leave us inna house wiffa Kat. Probly gonna be a while fore we get ta see G-Mom cept maybe inna parkin lot on cool dayz when we can stay inna car. Nutz! We wuz jest gettin the hang of that therapy gig http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif ...
Lilly (an Hannah, too) ~ sorree bout the *poundage* thing... Duz Kat food taste good? Boots' food is onna counter inna baffroom where we can't get at it - allus wundered how it tasted in bulk. Most we eber see is a piece or two he flips onna floor, but Cinder ushalee getz there fore I do an Hoovers em down furst.
An yer poor Kat, Butter ~ is the Kid's earbone gonna be OK? Ya otta tell him ta stay inside like our Boots duz! And whoz gonna do the PetSittin while yer Two_Leggerz are off havin a happy time wiffout you guyz??
An Daisey ~ a KOLD shower an then furgotted inna klozet ~ wow, whudda nite! Didja get ennie biskits fer all yer sorrowz?
Well, it's gettin late; we'll say Bye! fer now. Gotta drag MoufyMutt Cinder outta the corner where she's poutin an find Dad to aim the trakter towards the Ranch for dinner.
Wagg it if ya got wun; otherwize wiggel yer butts! /s/ SmokeMan http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Pooooor Cinder! We know you were just playing and being the silly girl you are. Thats awful the security guard had to involve the police and everyone. Don't worry Cin, we still love you.
-
Oh, Smokes, please tell Cinder not to feel so bad. We knew that old seekuritee guy was trouble from the get go. The POLICE and AMBULANCE....this guy's got a couple screws loose, should have called a mechanic! The sad, sad thing is that the grandmas and grandpas that don't get their Cinder and Smoke kisses. Breaks my heart. I'd be willing to bet that seekuritee guy isn't very nice to them either. Maybe they can all get together and write to the head honcho there and sign a letter to say how much those visits mean to them, and there was no trouble 'till seekuritee guy came around. I think maybe Cin got a kick in the ribs or something.
-
Hi, Hannah an Tucker ~ SmokeMan here ~
Tell yer Mom not to get all uppyset ober us loosin the therapy gig - Dad's jest reel thankful that ole Cinners dint reely hurt him. He sez she coulda wound up inna *jail* like when she wuz a liddel pup. An ebberbuddie's reel sure he dint mean to kick at her or try ta step on her - he jest furgotted where we wuz nappin till he turned round an http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif there we wuz!
I'm the wun what otta be uppyset ~ MoufyDawg Cinners got to go see GranMom last Sundee cuz Dad wunted to show the reel Kopperz that she wuzint sick wiff *rabies* or aktin *strange* two weeks after the dust-up. Since it wuz gonna be a liddel onna *warm* side, he dint wunt boff of us ta have ta sit inna trakter kar, eben inna shade. So I got stuck inna basement while them two saw G-Mom. Nutz! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/mad.gif Dad took GranMom onna big wheel chair ride round the partments, an Cinder gotz to trot along cuz the were outside. I wanna go next time eben if itz hot!
Cinners sez "HI, ebberbuddie!" Maybee we'll get her to talk next time.

Guess what!!!!
Mom came home today!!! We couldn't believe it! We thought she was gone for sure, and that Kim was our new mommy. But our real mom came home!!! And she brought us treats!! Can you believe it????
We did some bad stuff while she was away, and we feel real bad about it. I guess we're Nawtee Dawgs too now..... We don't know what to tell Mom about Evelyn, the hamster. But Mom said that she knows Evelyn probably was making lots of racket, and we just investigated.....but now Evelyn's gone, and Mom is sad.. :( But we're going to do better now that she's back and can love on us, and we don't have to be alone.
Mom said Helen cried because she wanted to come home with her, just so she could see us, and Mimi, Butter and Phoebe. But Mom said that she promised Helen to have a new hamster here when she gets back next weekend from visiting her dad, so that made her feel much better.
Our Mom cut the computer completely off before she left, so we haven't been able to type a word!!! In the meantime, we chewed up her living room rug....but she didn't even fuss about that. She said she knew a week was a LONG time to be away. We're kind of embarassed about it  but she said the rug was a "test" anyway. She got it on sale at our Home Depot, just to see if a lighter color would work. It didn't! :o So we just finished it off for her....it had mud all over it anyway.
Well, we just wanted to say "hi" to everybody since we finally got our puter back. How about you guys checking in sometime soon???? We really need to get the heat off of us sometime....QUICK!!!!! :D
Love,
Honey and Lilly
with a little help from Butter and Mimi
-
Hi, Honey an Lilly ~ Cinders here ~
Yeah, do I know about "the heat"...
Yer Mom tolded the Kat Group that the Butter's off the hook cuz he wuz outside when the Hamster Problem happened. Duzint leave too mennie suspekts, duz it? Hope ya lernt yer lessins - the SqueekerKidz can't be used as *squeeker toyz*. Our fuzzy *squeeker*, Boots the Kat, jest has to let out a liddel *yip* and Dad kumz a-runnin wiff  fire in his eyeballs. Daisy here. MOMMY'S HOME! MOMMY'S HOME! Finally! I thunked that she lefted me forever! Sure, I had a great time at her friend's house, but I kept lookin' out the windows for Mom. Well today her friend packed me and my stuff up and took me home, and the second the car came inna the driveway, Mom came flyin'. She ripped the door open and I jumped on her and gave her tons of kisses. I was cryin', I was so happy to see her! Then I ran to see Mom's sisters, mom, and dad! It was a great reunion. Mom was very happy to hear that I had a fun time. I even went swimmin' once! Well that was an accident, actually... I was chasin' a beaver and I fell inna pond... but Mom was happy :) She told me 'bout meetin' my brother! Too bad I couldn't of seen him! Me and Lucky were buds. Oh well! I gotta get back to makin' Mom pet me. I haven't left her side for one minute! :) It's good to be home!
Slobbery Kisses,
Daisy

Hey Everybody!
We read on another post where this message needed some stuff. Well, we're here, and hope the rest of you will be shortly! This has been too much fun and we can't let it die.
It's a hot summer here, and we've been spending most of our time inside, cept when our mom makes us go out to do our business or for a walk. We like walking, only last time she made us stay on the other side of the road from the duck pond. Said something about just having a bath....we don't understand that at all! All we wanted to do was go for a swim, and she about yanked our poor necks off, keeping us away from that pond. You know, since then, she hasn't walked us near that place. Whew! Our mom just doesn't understand.
Mom admitted to us that she is going away AGAIN in August. That nice lady, Kim, is coming to take care of us, but when is our mom going to take us with her? She said she is going to meet some of her new friends. First she will meet one buddy that you guys don't know, who has THREE dogs. Our mom's favorite is Trapper (as in Captain Von Trapp), and he came from the Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, who sent mom enough money to make this trip. These people also have a human girl, who is the same age as our Helen, and two more dogs, Quinna, who is just like us too, plus another one, Jazzi. THEN, the big scoop is that Mom and Helen are going to see Star and Cody and their mom!! We can't believe it! Why can't we go? We can hold it a LONG time. I'm sure we wouldn't be any problem on the airplane. We could sit right next to our Mom and Helen.
Then, they said they might even get to meet the lady who started this whole Pet Talk thing, Karen. Wow! Would there even be a Pet Talk if it weren't for puppies like us? And I guess we have to include those cats....
Well, anyway, Mom is already feeling her guilt, so we're getting lots of extra rubs and treats. And she's giving us green beans with our food! How great!
Lilly has a question. Do you think she should get Mom to take her in and have her weighed, just in case she has lost a few pounds? We are having a big problem with this food thing. Mom doesn't feed us like she used to. We thought maybe she would lighten up if Lilly had lost a little weight. What do you think?
Cinder and Smokey, our mom is in love with you. For Heaven Sake! We like your picture, but she hasn't even tried to put a picture of us on her signature like that. She hasn't even let us do our own thing on Pet Talk. We have to get her to let us on the computer! We think you are pretty cool too...especially with the bandanas on your necks. Lilly likes to have a bandana, and Mom got two really neat ones from the Golden Retriever people, but Honey keeps on chewing it off.
Well, we must go. Its time to go bark outside now. But we miss everybody. Mom has been giving us English lessons all summer, so we talk much better than we used to.
High Paws to everyone! Lilly has learned this trick. Honey is too stubborn!
Love,
Honey and Lilly, taking turns at the keyboard
