 I just found this thread.
all paws and fingers crossed for Neebster!
i hope its nothing but just a calis or something like that
Nebo is home...poor guy, looking at him makes me so sad. :( They must have really knocked him out, he could hardly walk out of the vet. He's been whining a bit too, I'm sure his leg hurts him. He can't run around at all for at least 2 weeks..and Nebo looooves to run. I have to make sure it doesn't get wet either, which is going to be fun with all the snow. :/ I won't know the results of what the lump is for a few days, keep those prayers coming..I'm hoping it's benign.
Attached are a couple pictures of him (warning the last one is graphic)
Oh Darlin Bee Butt .............. {{{gentle hugs}}} to you ..... and to Amy too ...
Awww.....
poor dude.
*huggies* to the both of you
Poor little man :( I know you'll get better, Nebo, but I'll be thinking of you just in case :) I hope he's able to walk without hurting himself soon ... that's such an akward place to have a tumor removed.
Awww my poor buddy bebo, I'll keep the thoughts coming Amy.

He does look a little "spazzed out" ...

But the On Duty Nurse seems to be watching over him!
Did they give you an E-collar or one of the "rigid collars" to keep him from
"bothering" the leg?
As for keeping it "dry" - unless the snow is that deep, he shouldn't get it too wet
as long as he's being walked on a leash.
I'd try some Vet Wrap or an elastic bandage - just put several layers on before
he goes out - then take the wrap off as sooon as he comes back in.
Was the Vet able to remove enough of a "margin" around the bump?
Did the Vets say they were encoraged by the results?
We'll keep the Prayer Candles lighted till we know more.
Feel Better SOON, Nebo!!

I'll be thinking about him, hoping it isn't serious.
That picture is so sweet, with Sydney looking over him.
Continued prayers for Nebo.
Aww, poor Nebo. It's sweet though, Sydney does seem to be concerned. I am still sending out good thoughts and prayers for you and our big handsome Nebo.
Awww...poor baby!! Adding my heartfelt wishes that he recovers speedily and that the news from the lab is all good...will be watching for updates. Have a good rest now, dear Nebo! So many hearts are pulling for you!
Awww Beebo, poor little dude. He sure does look "out of it" in the pictures, but I see nurse Sydney is on the job taking care of him;)
That leg really looks like a big "OUCHIE". Hope he leaves it alone so you don't have to put the cone on him.
When he's feeling a little better, give him some big {{{HUGS}}} from me and tell him I love him:)
And of course I'll keep him and you in my prayers that the testing turns out benign.
Lots of {{{{HUGS}}}} for you too Amy.
Poor Nebo. :( Amy, I will keep Nebo in my prayers that his tests come back good news.
Poor sweet bebo! :( That looks like a big mean "cut" you have! It's good though that you got him in right away...even IF it was something, seeing you got it so quick I can't see it being serious! Let us know! I'll be thinking of that handsome boy till we hear the results!
