My sincere sympathy is with your family at this time. No one can know the depth of your grief. May your son/brother rest in peace and may you feel God's love surrounding you during this time.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my father suddenly 2 months ago so I know the pain all too well. Nothing can be said or done to ease your pain. Hopefully just knowing that you have so many people praying for you is somewhat comforting.
May God bless you and your family.
Amy and Diana, I am so very sorry that I missed this before (for some reason I unintentionally tune out pinned posts, thinking they are old). I'm at a loss to find adequate words to express my sympathies for you and your family. I'm just in helpless tears :(. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will light a candle for Rob. I just can't even imagine the grief and shock you must be experiencing right now, my heart bleeds for you. :(
I'm sorry for your loss :(
Dawg Sitter here ~
After spending some time with Diana, Carl, Amy, Christy, and Ralph
at the Funeral Home, I was "detailed" to the Multi-Dawg House ...
"Here's a key, and Oh, the Big One's (Dakota) LOOSE in the house,
with a couple of the other ones."
Too late to chicken out now!
Found the house ...
got "the eye" from two or three houses up ...
Key fit the door - must be The Place ...
Anybuddie HOME???? ...
**WOOOOF* ~ *WOOOOF* ~ *WOOF*!
Times THREE "Voices" (for starters) ...
I went in Bisquits In Hand ...
Dakota relieved me of the fist three or four in one *snatch* -
then continued with UN-interrupted *WOOFIn*!
I pulled out more bisquits -
one for Destiny - REFUSED with LOUDER Barking!
One for Dazzi - eaten while *Barkin* (neat trick) -
followed by more *Barkin*.
Bisquits were disappearing faster than it was getting quiet...
The the Gang in Lockup figured there was a STRANGER inna Howze
GUD GRIEF!!
*EIGHT DOGS* can make a LOTTA *rakkit*!!
Everyone was at least "offered a bisquit.
"Wanna go *OUT*??"
Some did, some didn't ...
(I've found myself enjoying the INside AC, myself.)
In time, even poor lil Pippi - at first *terrified* of me ...
has become a frequent Lappy Dog - often without any warning!
All is now well - EBBERbuddie will come over for a *pay* or a *skritch*
and quite a few know how tto deliver the Ole Elbow Toss
when they wanter past the puter.
We'll all hold the fort till the Family returns.
Too bad I didn't think to ask what the Dawwgie Dinner Menue was -
guess we'll do *Bisquits* till Mom/GranMom returns!
While I was there at the funeral home,
there was a continuous flow of Friends visitting -
and many Fond Memories were shared.
There are an UNbelievable number of photos on display - on lovely boards
and in ALBUMS - more Albums than I could count!
Amy, Rob, and Christy MUST have had at least one photo a day
taken in their early years!
Our Pet Talk Silk Flowers look *nice* in their basket;
and Karen's now framed Verse tugs at your heart.
Botth our pieces share a small table & lamp near where Rob lies.
LES gettin close ....
Time to find a leash and take someone for a lil hike.
More Prayers for Rob, Diana, Carl, Amy & Ralph, and Christy, Brian & Jasmine
will be appreciated.
PS:
The good ole Army came through as promised  -
FURNITURE Delivery Day for Christy & Brian was TODAY!
Brian had a few buddies to help him - then he'll drive up to Findlay
to join the Family.
"Who wants to go for a walk??"
/s/ Dawg-Walker Phred, from Findlay
Oh Phred, I'm so glad you were there to help. I'm sure it was a relief to all to know the dawgs were taken care of while they grieved with friends and family. I just can't even imagine what the whole family is going through, but it's good to hear they are surrounded by loved ones at such a difficult time. :(
Thank you so much for being there for them, and representing Pet Talk, too, in a way.
What a blessing for them that there was one (well, maybe 8) less things to worry about tonight, Phred. Thank you for being such a good friend to them. I think we all wish there was more that we could do if we weren't so far away.
Logan
Went to the funeral home tonight, the flowers from Pettalk are very nice, Karen, your poem is beautiful and was nicely framed, Carrie (gabbygirl) brought a pic of the memorial tree, and Diana's family appreciate all the prayers. (Sorry I missed you, Phred, you were already gone to the house, but that was awfully nice of you to dogsit)
Thank you, Pat, too for going, I am glad everything worked to get people and flowers and messages there. It is an awful time for the family, and we'll do whatever we can do to in any way help.
P.S. Bellyrubs to your two and Scooby Snacks for Sherman from me!
Dearest Phred, and all the PT'ers that are helping during this difficult time.
You are all truly amazing ............ and I thank you from the bottom of MY heart for doing anything you can for Carl, Amy, Christie and Diana
Thank you
{{Lots of prayers still being sent.}}
