I always thought PCB was in Cali because of a picture she posted AGES ago of a house that she said was like the style of houses in her area. There were palm trees and it had that "style" to it. :p
I'm living in Sidney, BC right now. It's about 25mins from Victoria, BC. Soon I'll be moving to Langley/Cloverdale (I hope!) on the lower mainland!!! I'm so excited!

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. In southeastern Wisconsin, near Milwaukee. We have a cottage in Black River Falls, near La Crosse, Eau Claire & Mississippi River that we go to A LOT- it's practically our second home. :D

Pops, I just got your PM this morning, and my guess was going to be California also. I got that just from things you mentioned here and there. One in particular was when Jen mentioned what she paid for her house. I don't remember how much it was, but you made some reference to the fact that most people in your area drive cars that they paid more for. And when we were discussing houses, you said something about how expensive they are in your area. Well, not sure if there's anywhere in the country that the houses are more expensive than in California. And didn't you go to Yosemite park on vacation one time or something like that? Anyway, I would have guessed right. :D Now, if we could just get your dad to let you visit us Chicagoans when you're in town.....;)
I was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin the we moved to Mishicot (15 miles N of Manitowoc) when I was 10. Then when I graduated high school I moved to Green Bay, WI and lived there for about 8 years, then moved to St Petersburg, Florida area. Lived there for about 5 months, then moved back to Mishicot while I returned to school to get my Bachelor's Degree, and then I moved to the great city of Chicago. Lived there for 3 years then moved to the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago and that's where I am now. Yes, I've moved around a ton and I'm ready to make one more move - out of Chicago! It's a great city and I love it, but I'm so ready to leave. Since I was born and raised in small town America, I'm now ready to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind - far behind. ;) Just got a few more years to go though....

I *knew* that of all people, you would guess correctly........mainly because of our long house prices discussion in PM's a while ago. :p Now what other state is as expensive as CA? Oh btw, I knew the Yosemite pictures should have been a major hint. I actually went to Yosemite again last April and took a lot of *really* nice pics, but didn't share them because two trips to Yosemite in one year would make it more than obvious. :p It was a lot more beautiful when we went in April than it was last summer, because the snow was just melting and the waterfalls were really *full*. Unfortunately we missed the snow season just a week. An early heat-wave caused it all to melt early. :(
Vermontcat, yes I do love snow because I never see it at my house. I have to go all the way to Tahoe to get snow. We actually have a lot of places where it snows, but Tahoe's where we usually go. At least we HAVE snow. Some states don't have it at all. ;)
