I wonder what the 5 lb. weight was for? JoJoe had his defribbulator "installed" two weeks ago, they never put a weight put on him. JoJoe says he & Phred are both bionic now.

Thinking of you and praying hard for a speedy recovery, Toots! Lots of hugs and kisses!
Thanks to Karen for reporting in. Every bit of progress is a God send that we've been praying for, and I for one am glad that they are not kicking him out the door without a bit of followup. Gee, he's had enough neglect from the medical profession. That said, I am eager to see one of the pups pawing out their observations on having him back at the ranch and any tid bits he might want to relate about his adventures in the Big House that Randi pictured here.
I have been reading this thread and just not knowing what to say so didn't feel up to a reply until now. I am hoping that his ticker-enhancer will make him feel like a brand new man. I know a couple of pups and one lil ole kitty who are going to be real glad to see their Papa come home. Phred you take care and follow Doc's orders to the letter. My very best wishes to you for a speedy recovery. ((((hugs))))
You're still in my thoughts and prayers all the time, Phred. Hurry up and get well. We miss you and need you!! Daisy weighs around five pounds. When she lays on my chest, it feels like a Rottie ;) I can relate!! :)
Phred, you are still in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you get better real soon and come home to those two pups and that sweet little kitty. I know they are looking forward to seeing you real soon.
I will continue to keep you in my prayers, keep sending good thoughts your way.
Hugs,
Willie
Thank-You Karen for posting the type of pace maker that Phred received. I'm going to have to look this up~(not a 3 lead one?)
My Father-in-law has a pacemaker with 3 lead wires, and one of my cousins has went from having only a defibrillater to having a pace maker added.
Thank-You ~ Everyone~ For giving up dates on this" Phred " Thread!!!!!
My thoughts are with you Phred!
Thanks Karen and Staci for the Updates!
Any news on the patient today?
funny - I was on the phone with the patient when you posted this! :pQuote:

After 3 days they finally see he's on his cell phone? Observant!
if all goes well he will hopefully be posting in and updating everyone tonite.
He said to tell everyone "hi"!
:D I'm sure he will feel lots better when he and Mr. Bear are home!!! :D
Phred, our prayers continue. Hang tough, and don't try to do too much, too soon, my friend!!!! :)

So he is being sprung today....I'm confoozled, or maybe it's just the drugs I'm taking.
Did he actually have the pacemaker put it or was this visit just prep for that?? I thought to have a pacemaker put in that he would be in the hospital for alot longer. Sorry, but my mind is totally boggled right now. Thanks :o
They actually put it in. The surgery for that procedures takes less than 30 minutes. (I think JoJoe's was 20-25 minutes) Patients are required to stay overnight by law, our cardiologist said he thinks this will become an out-patient procedure before long.Quote:

I haven't posted but I've sure been thinking of you and I'm so glad to hear that everything went so well (just like I told you it would;)).
Now get lots of rest and let those furry ones take good care of you!
