Lots of big (((HUGS))) are on the way too!!!
can you request a second radiologist to review the ct films? another fresh pair of eyes might be helpful to see if it's a true size change and not just a different technique or a positional change?
here's thinking of you slick((hugs))
Sis, you are never alone. Not now, not ever ever ever ~ lean on me.
Thank you all for your kind responses. Today is my first day back at work but this week I only work today and Thursday. I have to give my butt a good kick because I've still got some more shopping, wrapping and mailing to do.
....and for the first time in a long time, I had to set my alarm clock. Poor Max is used to sleeping in until 9am and he's wondering what Meowmie is doing up so early. Right now he's doing his morning laps around the condo.
Joyce: Thanks for that suggestion but the CT scan is always taken while I'm laying in the same position. I'll call my doctor and ask her opinion about the second reading.
Slick, I'm so sorry- I had not paid enough attention to this thread in the last days.
I send my best thoughts- a little work will help to keep your thoughts from worrying and Max will make sure you stay focussed on him. It's so annoying if the only thing you can do is waiting ;)
Your never alone as long as we're here......and feel free to "vent" whenever you need to. Take care of yourself {{HUGS}}
Sending you the biggest hug!! You are not alone - you are a member of the PT family.
Take care sweetie
[QUOTE=slick]The good news is that I spoke to my GP on Friday and she gave me a note to go back to work...just two days per week for Dec. I have an appt to see her Jan 10 and at that time she will re-evaluate me ...
so slick how did the re-eval go? hugs,
Good Joyce. She gave me a note to go back full time starting Monday.
Trouble is, I keep worrying about this little nodule that's growing... :(
I have to wait until I have my CT scan on Feb 23rd to see what's next.
Edit: my blood pressure is really high...today it was 165/100. She is putting me on a water pill to see if that makes a difference, although I do know that I have alot of stress going on right now so that's a contributing factor. :(

No, worrying is not allowed. Give that worry to Dr. Bear, and don't give it another thought, okay? Give him a firm hug, which will transfer the worry to him, then you can forget it!
That is such a good plan! You listen to Karen now!Quote:

And Slick, you MUST NOT get stressed!! Try to think positive and pamper yourself with lots of yummy food and relax all you can. Work comes last on the list - your health is far more important. ;)
I'll call you tomorrow or sunday afternoon. :)
Feb. 23rd is only a few days away, and I think it's time we all keep our heads and hearts focused on what's important here!
GOOD, POSITIVE, HEALING THOUGHTS TO OUR SLICK!!
Slick is having a hard time at work, not to mention how hard it must be to wait for the CAT scan - plus her brother is due for an operation. :(
So, lets all send our Slick tons of positive thoughts, and also get hold of the Prayer Pups to do their bit. ;)
Slick, I'm thinking of you, and I hope the CAT scan goes fine and the nodule has stopped growing!
Remember, we're all here for you! :)
Big (((((((((hugs)))))))))))) .... and purrs and headbumpies from Fister.
