I have seen alot of commercials for a place called the "Cancer Treatment Center". They use a series of cures and treatments with a excellent success rate. Here is the link : http://www.cancercenter.com/ .
I am in shock here. I went through a scare two months back, almost afraid to say it out loud. Mine ended up not being.
Please contact these people. I am at a loss for words what else I can say.

Thank you borzoimom but I live near Vancouver, BC Canada. Those treatment centres are only in the States. I'm sure we have something similar up here but believe me, I'm in good hands. I love my surgeon and trust him with my life.
Have decided that since my outside Christmas lights went up on Wednesday, that today is a very fitting day to put up my Christmas Tree. I'm so looking foward to the lights. The only thing missing is my Speckles. She so loved to sleep under it on on the tree skirt. :(

I am sure they have similar centers there. Call them- maybe they can give you a referal. Trusting your doctor is most of it. I understand TOTALLY HOW you feel about waiting to say it- there is always "how"....

I've been wondering how your recovery has been since we last heard from you. My life has been upside down so I haven't had much time for PT. Sorry to hear about these other problems but I'll send vibes over to lessen their effects. How are you supposed to catch Santa if you're short of breath? :confused: ;)Quote:

Also, a friend of mine and her partner(in Vancouver), who is battling cancer, have gotten a lot from the Integrated Health group (I think that is the name).
Also - check out Greg Anderson's book 50 Thing To Do After You are Diagnosed.( I think that is the title). I have heard raves about it.
That is so GREAT you have a surgeon that you trust and really like. The above are adjuncts to what you and he are doing, not substitutes.

Boy, reading that brought back some strong memories for me, Slick. Speckles and Mimi must have been two peas in a pod. I will miss having my Mimi sleeping under the tree this year, but I'm sure the tree skirt bears some fur from over the years. She loved the Christmas tree, bless her sweet heart. I will miss her this Christmas, as I know you will miss Speckles, too.Quote:
