Do you know what I find to be really fun? Sitting down quietly now that the holidays are over and enjoying each Christmas card all over again.
But this time I see things I didn't see when I first opened the card during the busy Christmas week.
Thank each and every one of you for your wonderful cards.
I hope this New Year is good to you in every way.
I'm taking down my decorations today, but will leave the cards up for a while as I'm still getting them in the mail :) Then, as Gini mentioned, I will look them over again before taking them down with fresh eyes :)
I'm still getting cards too, because here in Belgium, people send cards more in time fot Janyary 1st, and afterwards too! All wishes are supposed to be in before the end of January :)

I should be getting the last few cards in my postbox tomorrow morning now that I'm back in London. Thank you so much to everyone who sent such lovely cards, and I love all the pet pictures. They really did make me smile. :love:

I put the picture of Tink up on my fridge so I can look at that cutie face all year.

I can vouch for that. I just looked, and the form on the back of the envelope she sent all the cards to me in (which looks like it's been through a war) says she sent them way back on December 23rd. They did not arrive to me until February 1st, and we were in the middle of two huge storms that day and the next, so I didn't get them sent out with proper American postage until Friday the 4th!Quote:

I was thrilled to receive it - it didn't matter how late.
When my young niece went to England for a seminar, she purchased a small teapot that is in the shape and color of the phone booth on the card. I just love the teapot so when I got your card Zara I fell in love with it too.
