My real name is Julianne. (pronounced Julie-Anne) I hate it. People always pronounce it wrong. So, everyone calls me Julie. :p

Which rhymes with "banana" ... of which I heard a lot of in grade school. ;)

My name is not, however, any version of the following: Sheena, Shana, Shawna, Shauna, or Shannon ... all of which I get called on a regular basis.

This never ceases to amaze me as my name is phonetically correct ... Shan-na. Pretty simple. I guess phonics doesn't get taught in schools anymore? :confused:

My name is not, however, Natasha, as most people seem to assume it is.

I don't see why you hate your name. I have 2 uncles, an aunt, and a cousin with that name. Of course the guys are spelled differantly. I still can't pronounce the male version of Don. It always comes out as Dawn, so are family has learned that I mean one of them. Oh and all the Dawns, and Dons are all on my dad's side of the family. So when there is a family get-to-gether, it's even harder to figure out which one I am talking to. ;)
