I thought, "That's funny.. the other cat is downstairs.." so I sat up in bed, looked around, and nothing was there. I figured it must have been my imagination. So I lay back down again, and I hear purring.. by now I'm awake so I know it's not my imagination, but there was nothing in the room. I rolled over, and as I did (ok.. now I'm getting goosebumps) I felt a lump down by my feet where Cleady always used to lay when he slept on my bed. I looked down there, and there was nothing there.. so I'm scratching my head, moving my leg back and forth, back and forth, and there is this lump and the purring sound the whole time. Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I said, "Hi Cleady.. I know you are here.." That night when I slept I had a dream that Cleady was in a big field of flowers, running and jumping like crazy (which he was having a hard time with when he went missing because he was developing arthritis), chasing a huge butterfly. It was sunny and warm there, and the flowers were EVERYWHERE.. fields and fields of them.. I think that's what Rainbow Bridge must look like, because after that night, I knew he was ok, and I haven't heard from him since. But that's ok, because I know I don't have to worry. (sniff sniff) :)
