On the 8th and 9th they all had veal breasts.
Yesterday was ... interesting.
I thawed out guinea pigs for the Labs (even if they had enjoyed it, I would never do that again :(). They carried it around for about 10 minutes. Buck took his out to the yard, and next thing I know, he's flopping it up in the air like a toy! He's throwing it up in the air, shaking it, and then rolling on it. After laughing my butt off for a while, I decided to cut open the belly. That got Nova to start eating it, but she wasn't crazy about the fur and kept trying to eat around it. I think if there wasn't any fur, she would have eaten it right away. Luka layed by her guinea pig for about 20 minutes while Nova struggled to eat it. Buck left his and started playing in the yard. Him and Luka weren't at all interested. Nova finally finished hers but I had to throw away Buck and Luka's and the extra one in the freezer. Nova ended up throwing it up a few hours later.
Mandy was lucky ... she just got a lamb shank.
Today I've already split a can of mackeral between Buck and Mandy. They also got an egg. I will give Mandy another half can and Buck a can and a half later, and Luka and Nova will get a full can with an egg each.
Looks like I'm the only one in this thread anymore ... lol.
Everyone had -
.75 lb bison meat
1/4 pork spleen
1/4 beef heart
1/4 bison liver
2 chicken feet (3 for Mandy)
Mandy didn't eat her organs. She has texture issues and won't eat some organs thawed but will eat them frozen, so I have them in the freezer for tomorrow.
Nothing too special. Kibble, 1/4 cup of peas and 1/4 cup of raw salmon.
Don't want ya to feel lonely:pQuote:

Three days ago they had beef tripe and beef heart, Two days ago they had pork roast and some ox tail, yesterday they had oxtail and beef ribs, and today they will have chicken. They also had some evo this morning with tuna fish in it.
Yesterday the Shelties had part of a chicken back for breakfast. I was a bad mom and drifted off to sleep and forgot to feed the dogs dinner.
Kai also got almost a full hot dog. I had to sneak in his pill somehow but he has caught on. He knows that if he nibbles at a piece of hot dog, the pill will eventually fall out.
I've been REALLY BUSY, so I haven't been posting here! =P But the dogs have been getting their Raw, of course. It is getting so so much easier! Today they each got a turkey quarter, some canned salmon, and tomatoes & avacado.
Breakfast:
1 pound of Beef
Dinner Will Be:
2 pounds Beef
1 Turkey Leg
1 Cucumber, 1 Banana, 1 Tomato, 1/4 of an Acorn Squash and 1 clove of Garlic all pureed.
Chester had ground chicken, and a chicken back for breakfast. For dinner he's having beef liver, duck feet, and some yogurt.
Got a great deal on chicken quarters so that's what everyone had for their meal today.
I have a question for everyone...
About the only organs I can find around here are beef liver, beef heart, chicken heart and chicken livers. Of course Roxey can't stand liver of any kind. What kinds of organs are you feeding???
The last few nights have been, chicken mince, vegie mush & supplements. And tonight they also had a lambs heart... yum (well they thought so ;) ).
Anna thankfully organ meat is available pretty much everywhere here, the most common that i buy is lambs heart, pig kidneys/ livers, chicken livers & ox heart.
Yesterday the Shelties had a bit of ground duck, ground chicken, chicken liver and pumpkin for breakfast. For dinner they got ground chicken and pumpkin.
Anna, I feed beef heart, beef liver, chicken heart, chicken liver, turkey heart, turkey liver, buffalo heart, lamb heart and lamb liver. Luckily I have access to a local company that sells ground up hearts.. otherwise I wouldn't be able to stand feeding it. :p
On the 13th:
Nova:
Beef leg, with hide and hoof still intact (I've got pictures that I need to post!)
Luka and Buck:
Pig foot, also with hide and hoof intact
Mandy:
Got lucky with canned fish after refusing the beef leg and then the pig foot!
Yesterday:
Luka:
Turkey neck
1 lb tripe
1/2 beef trachea
Buck:
2 turkey necks
1/2 beef trachea
Mandy:
Refused her turkey neck and beef trachea so she didn't eat
Nova:
Ate way too much the day before so she fasted
Today:
The Labs:
Split 1 lb chicken breasts
Mandy:
Canned mackeral
Liver is very important. Are you feeding it thawed? Mandy hates thawed liver, I have to feed it to her frozen. You could also try searing it just for a few seconds. Sometimes I thaw her liver and cut it up into small pieces and then mix it with canned fish, something she can't refuse.Quote:

My dogs just recently had spleen for the first time, and they've been raw fed since January. I can find beef kidney at a local grocery store. You might try talking to your grocers or butchers to order it for you.
The organs I feed regularly are liver, kidney, heart, and gizzards. I'll feed anything else that I can find. I have also fed tripe, spleen, brains (only when still in the animal), and lung.
They had beef brisket today, and will also have that tomorrow.
