And so the kittens plays with me

I thank you for the nice poems and the nice birthday message! Yours,
Baboo Booby Cute Nino Pussy Rhay[COLOR=orange] Mummy Lou will tell how this Poem Conquest Party was...
We had lots of fun, but must present our protest for the ugly taste of poem readings on MAL AU COEUR! Can you believe they come with poem of their lost boyfriends and girlfriends?!!! Rhay.
So, the Poem Conquest Chronicle...
It was the evening... some clouds on this days of Winter... Some come with long list of poem... Can you believe they were waiting for a romantic poem seassion?!!!
The cats were waiting for lots of fun and food... Kim (in memory), Neko, Rhay, Lilly, The family - boycat, girlcat, mom cat and Hai, Tisk and Radish, the german sheppards, TB, Hebrew, Karen - Hebrew's girldriend, and 4 couples friends present... and mummy Lou, of course!
Then few cookies and salties - these how we call some salt biscouts, and some red wine... A best prefered soup and milk with cinanmon dips for those felines who wanted...
They begun to read... and the MAL AU COEUR come slowly into scene! And how they lost they youth love for another College guy... and how the flowers and the letter never got to the girl of his most love.. and so it went...
The cats started to meouw, all in all, moving their tails from one side to the other... moving from one side to the other... Uooops a tail almost into the fireplace... come one, come cat, little cat, move away from the fireplace... come one, come one..
And the MAL AU COEUR continued and some more cat meows untill mummy Lou said, come on... boys and girls... because you sound like teenagers... create new poems right away...
Oh, no!!! Oh, no!!! We rehearsed all week all these poems...
So, it was the evening of MAL AU COEUR!!!
They declared that those poems would honor Rhay because it were the best poems ever!!!
Mummy Lou said her poem, Hebrew read a poem of T.S.Eliot for his cats, and while the cats and kittens started to sleep, bored with MAL AU COEUR, dark late night come on, and the win started to blow outside...
That is why we could not decide which was the best poem!!! We come to the decision along the week after many protest of TB, whose poem was not put on Pet Talk, because it talked about MAL AU COEUR death of the beloved... George said he was not going to play anymore (!!!!!) and Joana was furious because we called them MAL AU COEUR!!!
But then reality come with Rhay prefering the poem of Paul, who saved the Poem Conquest on Rhay's Honor!
And a prize on Best Beautiful Message of Birthday was decided because at Pet Talk there it was Barbara's message so colourfull!!!
What a day...
We must remind PT friends...
that Paul is 13 years old and the inventor of the Walking Stick! to walk on the woods. He wrote the Poem in Honor of Rhay's Birthday out of the inspiration of his life with the cats! :) :) :)

The next party is on the 16th of October!
Neko"s birthday is tomorrow but we are going to celebrate on the 16th of October! Come to join us!
Neko is a grey tabby and he is celebrating his 2nd birthday. We call him Mimo and also Sun because he loves the Sun very much as well as to sleep.
It is Spring down here in Brazil and, altough raining still, we hope to have a nice day in this garden with lots of Sun, flowers, and fun.
So, friends of PT, come to the party of Mimo Neko, the Sun!!! :) :) :)
Yes, pack and come the party, PT friends! And the Blessing of the Creatures!
Orangemom, yes, bring Archy and Brink to the party! So more Spring time to enjoy! Come to joing us!
We will try to find a big tent to hold all of us, so the cats will not run away! We have been trying to find this tent to hard!!!! The last company we asked they said the tent costs a fortune, and is not meant for cats!
But this business man is not correct. Let me tell you something friends of Pet Talk, all places are for the cats and creatures!
Creatures like the priest said on this last 4th of October, on the Blessing of the Saint Francis of Assis Church on Animal's Day!
It was raining but people and dogs came. At least one courageos cat came!
Around the Saint Francis of Assis Church a procession went on around the blocks behind a van with a loud speaker on which the priest was saying words of blessing of the "Creatures", because the Bible mentions it instead of the word animals.
We prayed The Blessing and Maria's prays while we followed the crowed. The dogs went silently maybe because of the words of the priest.
Later we went inside the Church and I counted 45 dogs of all sizes and shapes and pelages... Many people around the altar, looking for blessings for their animals.
The dogs barked and barked... and some other answered back... The church was crowded...
Outside the rain continued in these days of early Spring, and I felt well having said a prayer for Kim, Neko and Rhay and all the animals.
Creature of God, although many people would not agree, I believe the Bible blessed the creature, the animals.
And so does the priest of Saint Francis Catholic Church at Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil.
One cat came carryed inside a box by his boss. And Kim, Neko, Rhay along with me in thoughts!
Neko's Birthday!!! On this 16th of October 2005
Today we celebrate Neko's 2nd Birthday!!! Come to join us in this special day!!! ;) ;) ;)
Neko is long hair grey and white cat whose prefered thing to do it to get into trouble! He broke a leg already, almost swallowed a frog, who was taken out from his mouse alive and now swalloed the cap he used to chase after!!! Out to the vet he went and it came out alright!!!
That is why his nickname is Spook and because he loves to sleep on the Sund his nickname is Sun. And also Mimo because he is really Mimoso, a Brazilian word for little darling!
And so he is Mimo Neko Spook Sun!!!
And guess out? we got a tent!!! After looking for a tent to fit all of us and the cats in the garden, so the cats would not run away while we have amousements together!!! It has plastic windows looking outside!!!! And a big door!!!
It was very difficult to find it, believe me... After all, we did not tell the man that we wanted to put cats!!! :)
So friends and cats are coming for the birthday party!!!
Come to join us, Pet Talk friends!!!

Santa Clause brought many many toys...
Rhay got a new scratcher that he can roll with his paws...
Neko got a tambour with a bell that rolls along the floor...
Hai, Lilli, the Family and dear Bo got new beds...

and Lulu, our dear Lulu, that is all black fur, got a witch that she already took the head out!!!!
The human pet are having fruit salad with "nata" a kind of natural cream...
But they started with cold rouse beef with lots of green salad with the secret seasoning of the dear friend Charlotte...
It is a summer day and there is a hot humidity around here...
The cats are going to have a "showering rain" from the hose, something they love when it is very hot...
And we are all going to have ice cream with a bit of coffee and a cherish!
Merry Cristmas! :) :) :)
The kittens and the toys!
Sandra, Gin, Barbara! Summer greetings to warm you up! PT friends who feel cold, warth winds of hot temperature...
Christmas party was very fun: Jota got all the Christmas gifts because he immediatly got the toys from the other cats. But he is so cute: he begs in his back paws!
But Lulu and Suzie loved their toys and gifts!
Rhay played with Jota all around the house, chasing the most successful gift: a tiny pink wool/velvet mouse with black face and big ears.
There they went around the furniture running after the mouse and throwing it up and down... Believe it was Suzie's gift, a lady's gift!!! :) But the boys decided they made a better play: they carryed it as if it were a real mouse, their hunt, showing it to us, with great proudness!
The kittens didn't pay any attention to the goods! Just the noise of the red bags and the toys!
So human pets had a blast eating the pudding and the "torta fria", a torte made of several creams and layers of bread, covered with a cream mayonese. And of course, turkey with gravy, this time the recep was secret I say, but tell you I almost had to call emergency to make it: it was too salty, and then I had figured out a way to solve it! I simply put sweets on it, and in the end it simply tasted wonderful.
(I wonder how am I going to make the same recep again!) :D
I was kind of lunatic the other day: I wrote Jota got a strecher!!!!! No, No, No!!!! He got a new scretcher, something to finger nail! One that he can carry on!
I also wrote Karriot, meaning "carriots", unbelievable I wrote it!!!
I hadn't drunk anything... But I kind of fused, like the kids say! I simply forget somedays how to write some words!!! :D
HAPPY NEW YEAR! AN EVERYDAY YEAR TO MAKE IT YOURSCOLOR!!!!
Louhirata :) :)
How Pistol-Yero got his name.
As for Pistol-Yero, this is the story behind his name:
When my oldest daughter first went off to college at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, she lived in the dorm with a girl that she did not like, nor did she like the fact that she could not keep a cat there. The next year, she decided to go study in England. There, she again lived in a dorm where she could not keep a cat. As they wandered about England, Scotland, Italy, Czechoslovakia and such, she and her boyfriend met many cats and they would photograph them, and then email me the pictures.
Still, this did not satisfy her desire to live with her cat.
For her junior year, she returned to UAF and rented a waterless cabin out in the woods, because there she could keep a cat.
So, the day before she was to return for classes, I took her to the local pound, where I was confident she would find a good cat. Her younger sister came along and I told her, "Now, we are going to get a cat to go live with Melanie and that is all we are going to do. We already have four cats; that is all we can handle and I do want to hear even one word of persuasion from you, trying to convince me to get another. Do you understand? I especially don't want you to cry."
"I understand, Dad, and I promise I won't ask you to bring home another cat; I won't cry, either – I agree - four cats is enough."
So off we drove to the pound and there, amongst a host of beautiful and deserving cats of all ages, we found two eight monthers, one that had a coat similar to that of a blue fox, and the other a tabby, with a splash of white across his face, a white-belly and four white socks leading down to his white toes.
My eldest daughter quickly settled on the fox-blue, who she named “Slick,” although in time, she would begin to call him “Meechee.”
“You made the right choice,” the sad pound volunteer-lady sighed. “He is a nice cat, but that one down below is a real pistol. He’s mean. He hisses and scratches and bites and nobody wants him. He’s a real pistol! Nobody is ever going to take him. I’m afraid he is going to get the purple tag. He’s a real pistol!” She bent down to the level of his cage and peered in. He arched his back, hissed and let fly with claws extended.
“He’s a real pistol.” She sighed again. “No one will ever take him.”
I squatted down to his level and looked in. He did not look like a mean cat to me – just scared, a cat who did not understand why he had to be in a cage and who did not like it at all. He was beautiful and I loved him immediately. “Oh, Dad…” my youngest daughter stammered, tears beginning to form at the edge of her eyes as she scanned her brain for the most compelling argument that she could use to justify breaking her promise, to convince me that we should bring this cat home.
“Well, we’ll take this little pistol home with us, too,” I said. My youngest was shocked. She had won the argument before even making it.
The lady then led us up to the front desk to fill out the paper work while a male employee took the two cats to a back room to give them their initial shots. As we were filling out the paper work, the man suddenly screamed in the back. “Owww!”
The lady shook her head. “That cat is a real pistol,” she said again. The man soon emerged with both cats, and there was blood dripping from his fingers where the tabby had sunk a claw after being stabbed by the needle.
So I named him Pistol and it was just as I suspected. He was not mean, just frightened and scared. He is sweet and loving and in no way ever deserving of the purple tag of death. In time, because I felt so affectionate toward him, I began to call him “my leetil Peestol-yero!” in honor of the Mexican gunslingers of old.
And so, he is, "Pistol-Yero."
