Heidi Chronicles Part 3

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...tinheidi19.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ireheidi45.jpgHeidi sitting in the sunshine this morning and over by the fireplace,had been staring at it again.Last night,after turning the computer off,I went over to the couch to sit down,Heidi moved form the chair and was on my lap to begin with then wanted to sit beside me so had to move over.this morning,Heidi jumped up on Mom's bed and woke her up,she was going to a breakfast at the Orono church.Heidi had a play with me after breakfast and sat with me.I was going to take her for a walk,found out she had pooped in my bedroom so no walk.instead came down here and she has just been lazy,has had her Iams bone,in about an hour,will have her supper.I am having Fish and Chips,Mom is going out,the hospital volunteers are having a Taste of Italy dinner tonight at the church,mom made Coconut Cream Pie.Heidi right now having a rest behind me.

Hmmm, Heidi! A couple of accidents in the house -- that doesn't sound good. Try not to go in the house so you don't miss your walks, sweety! I know you can do it because you are smart :) Happy Monday!

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/sungirl3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...restytime3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...restytime4.jpgHeidi in the sun early Wednesday afternoon,later on in her bed and Wednesday night with me on the couch,head on my foot.This morning was too cold for a walk,14 degrees,she had her look out the window ,played some fetch then down here,had a snooze in the chair,had a snack,played fetch and is now snoozing in the sun by the fireplace.mom has taken Marlene out to lunch in Newcastle,Marlene is 60 today,later on the whole family is going to Swiss Chalet,that is all of us including Shannon,Brandyn and Samantha either in Oshawa or here in town.Phylis McRobbie's,son Lloyd passed away yesterday from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's,he was 72.Visitation is tomorrow 2-4 and 7-9 and funeral is Saturday at 1,I will go to the evening visitation tomorrow with Mom,Larry and Marlene,we have known the family for a long time,i helped Dad do her lawn and i have done it since 2007 so it is the least I can do.

Oh boy, Heidi, you have missed a few walks lately. I hope the accidents stop soon. That's not like you :(

I'm sorry about your friend's son, Barry. I'll say a prayer for your friend. How sad that she has lost her son.

Hi, Heidi! It sounds like you and Barry had a good afternoon inside on a chilly day. It was bright and sunny here today but quite cold with the wind, so I let a couple of errands go and I'll do it tomorrow after church. Maybe today was an accident-free day and you'll get to go for a walk, I hope so :)

Heidi was in her cage and Taffy here when we went to church,didn't want a mess.Taffy has a hard time getting around,her back end isn't good,sometimes one paw drags on the ground and going upstairs today,she git stuck going up with mom and needed my help. The Eagles won on Wednesday 5-2 over Uxbridge and won in 3 straight games and now play the Little Britain Merchants in the next round which starts there Wednesday night at 8.Heidi has had her play tonight and is snoozing on the floor,for now,Taffy is on the couch snoozing,may got for a wander later and get Heidi after her again.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...terheidi11.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ireheidi51.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...terheidi12.jpgHeidi on her walk Monday morning,she saw Doreen's Olinski's neighbor and another lady,I saw the crossing guard arriving,Heidi didn't see her,admiring the fire and on today's walk.After Heidi had her snack Monday morning,she brought it up,took her out and she brought up again,after coming in ,she was fine.She kept her supper down,she had plays with her toys,was quiet last night,in the chair and behind me.this morning,she looked out the window ant people walking by,we went on the walk,saw the crossing guard and got a belly rub,met a man around the Crescent from us who had to put his Shih Tzu down last year,was 15,had been blind,deaf and wasn't walking right,also met an older lady on the walk.She has had her snack this morning,Marlene went shopping with Mom,Heidi greeted her,she is under my chair right now.Getting snow tomorrow,rain in the afternoon and maybe a bit of freezing rain.Hockey game tonight,Eagles lead series 2-1 after Sunday's overtime win.

Haven't walked the last few days,Saturday,was very windy,form the same system that brought Tornados in the Midwest U.S,there were a some branches down and we got a pile of leaves I had to clean up. Heidi has her routine of sitting with me after breakfast and looking outside,have a play iwith her new toy a red bone,comes down here and snoozes,has her snacks of Iams bones,then supper around 2,goes to mom when I go to the tub,give her a snack when i come back down,has a play with her toys then settles down.Right now,is snoozing in the chair as I type this,mom going to do Meals on Wheels,my uncle's operation is now tomorrow,it was cancelled yesterday,there was another emergency,he is first on the list tomorrow at 7 a.m.the Eagles made it to the League final against the Lakefield Chiefs,they beat Little Britain on Saturday 2-1 with 16 seconds left,won the series in 7,the final starts tonight in Lakefield,game 2 is Saturday night here,then Sunday afternoon there then Tuesday back here..

I was at my mom and dad's in Berwyn yesterday. It was so nice out that a lot of people were out with their dogs. I saw one of their neighbors from a couple of blocks down walking his daughter's Shih Tzu! She was so cute and I thought of Barry and Heidi :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...terheidi26.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ozinheidi2.jpgHeidi on her walk Monday morning,saw kids in the school yard at the Catholic school and Heidi last night snoozing on the couch,followed me over when went over.We had our walk today,thought I got a picture,turned ou tI had it on a video setting,hope I can figure out to get it on here.Didn't do the walk until this afternoon after supper,really foggy this morning,with the unseasonably mild weather we are getting,tomorrow to be in the mid 70's.Heidi saw my sister today,she was a little excited to see her,peed on the kitchen floor.She loves going out on the patio to wander,she hears kids at a neighbors jumping in a trampoline,she starts barking.She had her snacks of Iams bones,cuddled with Mom tonight and is now under my chair.Tomorrow is Shannon's birthday going out somewhere for supper,also tomorrow is game 1 of the Provincial Junior C Quarterfinal series between the Clarington Eagles and the Campbellford Rebels.

Oh my gosh, Heidi! The first picture in #197 made me laugh right out loud! You just have so many cute ways! I bet there are a lot of people who smile when they see you! :D (I'm one of them)
