I will contact Tim again tomorrow afternoon, and will ask about charities to which she'd have liked donations to go.

What sad times. I did not know her very well but what I did know of her I always liked. She was such a kind person. I am glad she was able to go peacefully and I am sure she is lookiing down upon all of us and smiling right now.
Karen, that would be a nice idea (the flowers and/or the donation) I would like to participate.
Thoughts and prayers from Illinois
Oh my god. I have a loss for words. I feel so sorry for her family. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. :(
It just blows my mind how someone can be here, and then be gone to the Heavens so quickly. Corinna had just been on Pet Talk hours before - it's just such a shock. :( She was such a great person.
God Bless you, Tim, during this time.
OMG!! I'm just reading this now. As with everyone else, I'm in total shock.
I didn't know her very well, unfortunately, but I always enjoyed her posts. She always had such nice things to say to and about everyone. I agree with everyone that the world has truly lost an angel.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family in this most difficult time.
What a sad tragedy. May dear Corinna rest in peace, and may God comfort her dear husband, daughter, grandbaby and family during this terrible loss. :(
Kim
Oh...my...God... :( :( :(
I cannot believe what I am reading. :( My deepest condolences to the family. Corinna used to post here everyday. I cannot believe she has left us...so suddenly. To God we belong, and to Him we return.
:(
I just got on here, and I'm deeply saddened to be greeted by such an enormous tragedy for Corinna, her family, and all of PT. The gravity of her loss cannot even be explained through words. Rest in peace, Corinna.
I'm so sorry for your loss Tim. Rest In Peace Corinna :(
Tim, I am so very sorry to read that Corrina has gone over the Bridge :( I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family are going throug. Please accept my condolances and know that Corrina was a wonderful and generous person who was loved by all...
Cheryl
Oh, I am so sorry! This is the first thing I saw when I logged on this morning. Hugs to Tim and the rest of the family.
That is so sad. I am so sorry for your loss.
I bet she would have loved it if we found the local Newfie or Boxer rescue.Quote:

Its so unbelieveable that one of our PTer is gone. So sorry for your loss Tim :( I never got to know Corinna but I know she was wonderful lady. RIP Corinna
I couldn't believe it when I saw this, this morning. She was a special person. Prayers are with you and your family.
Oh no, I am so sorry :( Tim and family, you have my sincerest condoleances.
I am so sorry to hear of Corinna's passing. How devastating for the entire family... including those consisting of her PT family. Tim, my heart goes out to you, and I pray that you find some peace in the many wonderful tributes here for your dear wife. ALthough I didn't know her, I always enjoyed reading her posts. And it is obvious she was a great lady. RIP Corinna, RIP.
I didn't know her that well through PT, but any loss here affects all of us. How sad for you and your family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. :(
O my goodness. I'm not sure what to say. Hugs and Prayers comming your familys way! :(
Still thinking of you guys. I hope everyone is holding up okay, as much as possible at a time like this.
I am just seeing this now and am in complete shock. Corinna you will be missed and I know you will keep watch over us here at PT. Tim, my sincerest condolences to you and the rest of the family.
Amber
I'm so sorry to hear this. :(
Corinna was a sweet Pet Talker who had many friends here.
Sending hugs to Tim and the rest of her family.
No... :( Hugs to the family.
My deepest sympathies.
I think the idea of sending donations to a Newfie or Boxer rescue is wonderful. Or maybe in Springer Spaniel rescue, in her and Merlin's honor? The shelter/rescue she got Dugan from, maybe?
I certainly cannot get her off my mind. A while back she sent me a bunch of dog figurines/ceramics. Some were from then she was a little girl. She said she wanted someone to have them that she knew would love them. They've been on my "dog shelves" since then, right above where I'm typing now. I keep looking up at them.
She was a very special Pet Talker in my heart and will be sorely missed. Certainly not forgotten but it will not be the same here without her.
She sent me this e-mail on October 28th -
"I wanted to let you know how much you mean to me and your kids . the bandanas i sent were some of Merlins . Ty doesn't care for them but I knew yours would. corinna"
I believe she was talking about the bandanas we received in Kiara's welcome home package.
The fact that she thought so dearly of myself and my three means so much to me, as I felt the same about her and her three dogs.
I'm in tears again..
I'm so sorry Tim, and the rest of Corinna's family. If it hurts those of us who are miles and miles away, I cannot imagine how you all feel.
I was telling my mother about Corinna's passing and it gave her goosebumps. My mother is the same age and it's such a young age still.
You are now reunited with your heart dog, Merlin...
After the total shock of this news, that was what came to my mind as well. I have read each post in this thread, and it is evident how many people Corinna has touched here at Pet Talk. She has been with us from almost the beginning...a true pillar in every sense of the word and this community will be missing a committed and caring person who was the true essence of what Pet Talk is all about.
To all of Corinna's family, I am so sorry for your loss. The magnitude of what you are going through is more than I can wrap my mind around. May the God who led Corinna home be with you and bring you peace.
I keep thinking of Corinna as well, the last pm I had in my inbox that day was from her. :( She was always so willing to help everyone out, I believe she sent something each time we had to do make-up packages for the gift swap. A good person is someone who is giving of themselves and that was Corinna.
I'm sure Merlin was waiting for her and is happy to see her...the rest of us will all sorely miss her. :( My prayers are with her family always.
Here is a springer rescue that is nationwide http://www.springerrescue.org/
I was away this weekend and just got back. What sad, shocking news. You and your family will be in my prayers. Blessid be Corinna
Thank You for ALL the support! This has been a very difficult time for us. Seeing the outpour of love and caring from the previous numerous posts has helped us to cope with this tragedy. Corinna has considered all of you extended family for a long time. I know she has spent numerous hours in many of your lives and enjoyed every minute of it. She would keep me updated on many events and crisises that would happen. I am going to miss this from her. She worked with the Spay/Neuter Task force locally and did many other community projects. She cared for me when I went thru my cancer surgeries 12 years ago and most recently last year when I had to undergo back surgery. You have ALL become like a second family to ours! I wish Corinna could see this thread. Some of these posts have had us in tears. When you come to the end of your life it is surprising the number of people effected by your presence. We have been busy on the phone and meeting people that have been influenced by Corinna life, some who I have never met.
Our family, Tim, Clarissa & Roger, Ben, and Charity Jean want to thank All of you for being in Corinna's life and for all that you have added to it! We will all have a little piece of Corinna with us.
By the way, our big bag of treats is missing and I believe Corinna is sharing it on the other side of the bridge. They will be well cared for! Corinna believed in CELEBRATING life. Enjoy EVERY minute! :D
Tim
I'm so glad that we're helping you and your family. That's the least we can do. She sent me a pm of support just last week about my Brian. She will most surely be missed by many people here and I'm sure in real life, as well.
I am so very sorry to hear this heartbreaking news :( Much love to you all - Corinna will be missed
I haven't been on PT since Friday afternoon....
OMG.... how horrible and shocking.
Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.
:(
Tim, I'm just seeing this Monday morning. I am so very, very sorry for your loss. As I was reading thru all the posts here I just kept thinking that there must be a very long line of pets at the Bridge waiting to meet/greet and welcome Corrina.
Tim, Corrina's spirit seems to be alive and well in YOU. Your last post is beautiful and uplifting and I thank you for taking a moment to tell us how you are. :)
I have not been on PT for a couple of days, so I am just now seeing this - I am so very sorry. Corinna was such a special part of PT, she will be greatly missed :(
Because this thread has gotten pretty long, I just wanted to let people know we will be sending flowers for the funeral, if you are interested in participating, please PM me, okay?
Gosh, I'm just seeing this now as well, and have been reading through each and every post. Corinna sounds like a wonderful and very giving person, and I'm sorry I didn't know her better.
Tim, please know that you and your family are in my prayers also during this difficult time. She will truely be missed.
**hugs**
Karen
This is heartbreaking news.
My love and prayers are with her family. She had a large and loving family here as well.
I am grateful she entered my life, even though briefly. She will be missed, but she will be remembered.
The Lord moves in Mysterious Ways.
Tim and Corrina's family, you have all been in my thoughts constantly over the past couple days. It is so very difficult to come up with adequate words to express my sorrow that a very dear and compassionate person has been lost to all of us. Through her posts and what others have posted about her, she seemed such a gentle and unassuming person, full of consideration of others and generosity of heart. She never pointed out all the wonderful things she did for others, never sought out acclaim and recognition for her thoughtfulness. She is the type of person I look up to and strive to be more like. It can be such a struggle sometimes to not be selfish or revolving around one's own problems and feelings.
I will always remember Corrina with admiration and I will strive even harder to live by her loving example. My prayers remain with you.
