Hi, everyone! I get to report that old blue will be going to the great car lot in the sky. On Tuesday I'll be leasing a brand new 2006 chevy colbalt! No, Mario no cherry pits in THIS car!
BTW, does anyone want to go for a ride??
David, if you're going to say the r-i-d-e word with Lady in the room, you'd better be ready to go right now! One last ride in Old Blue, perhaps?
Karen, Lady can take the last R.I.D.E with me in old blue!Quote:

I better give her her ride while there are stil walls left in the bar. Mario, do you want to come too? (It's an F150, I really don't care about the cherry pits, we'll bring a bag of wipes to take care of the juice)
OOPS! Sorry LH, I forgot about the "R" word!Quote:

Now that we're back, and the cherry pits and juice are out of the cab of the truck, anyone for some pumpkin pie and coffee?
Thanks, LH, I can use both. I spent the afternoon cleaning out the old car to make look presentable when I trade her in. It's a shame that the head gasket blew when there was only 71,770 miles on the car.
Thanks for the pie LH. I'll just grab some tea to go with it.
We're fixin to have thunderstorms directly. We have been in the 60s, now a cold front is moving in. Cold air and hot air; not a good combo, especially in Kansas. We are under tornado watches until around 8:30, I think it is.
David, I can't believe old blue gave up the ghost so easily. My poor 1985 has had the mile guage turn over at least twice since I've had it. Guess they just don't make them like they used to, huh? ;) :D
It's a shame old blue went so quickly. However I'm looking forward to getting my new colbalt!Quote:

Now we are having wind gusts to around 70mph. Hope my old house doesn't blow away!
Good luck with the new car, David. I would love to get a different one but figure I'd just be starting over replacing parts I've already replaced on the one I have. Does that make ANY sense? :D
Has anyone heard from MOFF this morning? Just checking in to be sure she is alright - the tornados sounded too close for comfort.
Here I am. Didn't mean to frighten any one. It was a rather harrowing night here. We had winds to 70 mph most of the night. They have calmed down to 40 to 50 mph today.
I had to go to the doctor this morning. Still fighting the blood pressure.
He tossed out two medicines and now we are trying another new one. So, I'm back to two for a while. For two weeks at least. Sigh! I am so tired.
We have been getting spit on by snow this afternoon. It can just go away!
I'm grabbing a big cherry vanilla coke and 4 hot cnt's for the gang!
See Ya! :D
