Sasha you are going through so much, so sorry you have to take the added meds, but although they don't taste good they will help you get better. Continued prayers to all of you!
Well, our little girl's blood works taken July 25th are encouraging. Sasha is holding her own with the chemotherapy. We are ever hopeful our darling will beat this wicked illness.
Sasha is now taking clavamox [for a total of 21 days] as she has a severe UTI. Lots of meds for one little girl...
At times we are scared silly; other times we feel it is a good day. To the other Pets who are ill, we wish you all speedy recoveries. What Murray and I know is: everyday with Sasha is a good day. And we know you all feel exactly the same: everyday with our beloved pet is a good day.
Here's hoping for Sasha
and here's hoping for all the ill darlings
Sasha, it's so good to hear about an encouraging result.
Now we hope that nasty UTI goes soon and you can concentrate on fighting that cancer.
Nosekissies for you:)
Sasha, any good news, is great news. And even the healthiest of cats get UTI's now and again. We are still praying for you little girl.
Glad to hear the encouraging news! You will have continued prayers!
Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are still being sent your way. I hope Sasha will get over her nasty UTI very soon and continue to do well with her chemo treatments.
Darling Sasha,
I do hope that you are going to get past that UTI and feel better soon! I know your Katma and Murray are quite worried since you are their baby!!! I would be the same way about any of mine.
Please know that all 3 of you are in our prayers. You have been so good about keeping us updated. Thank you for that.
Logan, Mimi and Butter
Sweet Sasha....you are looking very good....especially for a kitty going through all that you are right now! Horrible medicines but you are worth it!
More prayers and (((HUGS))) for you and your catmaw and papa!
Oh, Sasha, I am only now finding out about the battle that you have been fighting so bravely. I don't have any kitties of my own, so there are a few here of whom I am very fond, and you, my dear are one of them.
Sasha, you must keep taking your meds, even though you hate them. You have so many people here wishing you well and praying that you will soon get the good news of good numbers on those tests. When you are on the mend, we will throw one big party to celebrate.
We hope that Katmaw lets you come on the puter more often, because we so enjoy hearing from you. *Every day with Sasha* is a good day for us too, you know.
Sasha, I know what you must be enduring because my husband also had Lymphoma and went through Chemotherapy. I'm elated to say that he beat it and is in remission, which is what I hope and pray for you, precious girl. Don't be vain and fret if you lose your beautiful Calico fur; it will grow back! :) Blessings to you and yours in coping with this difficult ordeal, and may you keep on fighting, darling . . . we are cheering for you!:) :)
Mew, my secretary who is also my KatMa is sitting here, crying. She and Paw-Paw and me are so touched by the concern of people and pets in this Forum.
I am holding my own. My UTI is a very wicked one and another antibiotic has been added to boot this out. So, two antibiotics for 21 days...
My specialist had stopped my chemotherapy; she and my personal veterinarian will consult on Monday to decide when chemo will resume. The specialist wants to get the UTI under control -- I'm on lots of meds. I'm also not taking the diuretic until after that consultation on Monday but still take the prednisone which I will take for the rest of my life.
KatMa is worried but Paw-Paw is freaking out because my appetite is very depressed. I get a 'buffet' every meal -- all kinds of foods in my bowl. Whenever I eat any food Paw-Paw celebrates. You'd think I've gone into remission by how he reacts. Paw-Paw gives me goodies like teaspoons of ice-cream [yum]. My KatMa makes me "jell-O" which is the natural drippings of roasted chicken. KatMa chills this to get the fat to rise to the top and set. Then she skims off the fat. The remainder is a nice geletin which is Chicken "jell-O" I just cannot resist this.
Tonight is Shabbat dinner which means a nicely stuffed, roasted chicken -- and my "jell-O". Can't wait. Usually this makes enough "jell-O" for five days. Tonight KatMa will figure out how to get enough for one week so I don't have to miss out until the next Shabbat dinner is made.
Well, KatMa is feeling much better now; she has stopped crying. I told her, mew-meeeOw, that if she wrote what I'm dictating, she'd feel much better.
All of you darling pets who are under treatment right now, please know that my purr~ents and I are cheering for your speedy recovery.
purrrs, Sasha
Sweet Sasha, I hope that UTI goes away soon! :(
I know it's not fun to take so many meds, but they will help you to feel better. Keep fighting and eat up on that buffet, brave girl! :D
Continued prayers on the way for recovery.
**hugs**
Karen
Sasha, it was so good of your KatMa to transcribe your dictation. Probably took her a bit longer than usual because she had to be wiping her eyes and blowing her nose a bit. But we appreciate all her efforts as it was so good to hear your voice once again.
Oh, I didn't hear it? Strange, I was certain I did.
Sasha, I am pleased to know that your parents are going to such extents to find food that will pique your appetite. Actually the thought of that stuffed roasted chicken piqued mine quite a bit. And chicken Jell-O, what a unique idea. Your Katma is so inventive.
Now you get plenty of rest and don't wear yourself out purring. We know you want to keep everybody's spirits up, it is just your nature. We will be praying for you and Katma and PawPaw. Please continue with the uppydates as you are able.
