Sorry I didn't get any pictures up tonight!!! I left early (just after 3pm) went straight to my in-laws from the park. I'll try to get pictures of both up tomorrow!!

Slight change in plans -
since all the Findlay Gang either had to work :( .
deliver furniture :cool: ,
or entertain Fambily :) tomorrow ...
We decided to just drive back home and not *Rent-a-Bed* ...
Till we drove past the Gathering Crowd up on the Findlay Reservoir ...
:confused: - WHUT'Z goin on??
Musta been 75 Folks in lawn chairs scattered along the east side
of the Reservoir ... we drove up and asked "What'cha DOIN?"
"FIREWORKS at 10:00 - Look GOOD from up here!"

We drove back down and parked ...
"Only" an hour & a half to *kill* before Show Tyme!
By 9:45 there must have been 500+ up there with us!
Parking lot was Past Full and folks were parking along the roads -
TWO Park Rangers were doing their best to direct traffic and
allowing cars to park almost ANYwhere except ON the paved roads.
The Fireworks were worth the wait!
Not only saw the main Findlay Show - but there were two other
shows a little further south that were visible!
The *BOOMERS* were distant enough the FurKids didn't
seem too concerned -
Cinder & SmokeMutt seemed to *watch* ...
Bowz alternated between *sound asleep* and *WIDE-Eyed*!
After the Show - we just sat and enjoyed the
*stampede* down the Reservoir and the resultant traffic jam!
Then a slow stroll back to the Bus and an easy drive out to the highway.
The Furry Co-Pilots were their usual Helpful Selves on the return trip ~
SOUND ASLEEP *crashed* on the back seat! :rolleyes:
Cinder *came to* when we turned onto our road;
Smoke never picked his head up off the seat till we turned into the DRIVE;
and poor Bowser - he would have GLADLY slept in the Bus in the garage!
Great **PHUNN** Tyme today!!
We'll "process" the *snappies* and post em later ...
Big Bed Tyme for now!!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I am really going to try and make it next year. I would love to meet everyone and their dogs. Everyone got lots of good pics. I'll bet you all slept really well Sunday night.

Anna, I'm sorry that Bon doesn't play well with others. I'm giving Finn a month after neutering, to see how he does. He may just have to avoid the park, too, and, join Bon on the bad boy list.

Hello everybody! We just got back from a few days in Toronto (which is why we couldn't join you) and last night at Niagra Falls, where we got to see some great fireworks with the falls as the background--pretty!
I was of course at the dogpark this evening with my very happy crew - talked to Rocky's "dad" - I think I saw a picture of Rocky hanging out with Tori on the hill - (he's the red fox lab) He told me you all seemed to have a good time! I'm so glad you are posting pictures -- all the pups look great, and Diana, your little Jasmine just gets cuter each time you take another picture of her! Looking forward to seeing more pics, and we're planning to be there for the Labor Day gatherin'!

Great pics! I especially loved the family shots, great idea! It looks like Katie and Bon had a great time even if they didn't go into the park. I'm not sure about taking Nebo into a dog park again either :/ ...the last time I went he was just fine with every dog until a dominant malamute showed up. They both wanted to be king of the dog park, had a couple of scuffles (no wounds, just looked bad), the malamute's owners didn't seem to care or try to prevent it so I just left. Sorry for that little tangent there... :o
