Oh dear! Prayers and (((HUGS))) coming your way Kelly that you're feeling better and back home with your furkids soon. Crohns is a terrible thing to have to live with. :( :( :( I have a friend who has had intestinal problems for years now, and it's progressed to probable Crohns disease now. Poor woman can't even enjoy herself in a restaurant without ending up being carted out in an ambulance. :( (It doesn't help that Debbie eats things she shouldn't though). :rolleyes: Feel better lady! ;) :)

Oh dear. I just saw this Kelly, and I'm so sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time again. :(
If sir jury is what's needed to make you well once and for all, then I'm glad you're up for it.
I'm so glad to hear you're keeping your spirits up. I don't know if I could do the same.
Good luck with everything. I hope they can figure out how to make you better so you don't have to keep dealing with this.

I hope you are feeling better. I had a friend with crohon's disease and it sure made her life miserable. You take care and get better soon!!:)
Quickie Kelly Update:
She's feeling better today and her CT scan showed that she's improving (from the time she arrived at the hospital last week). She is going to get a double dose of Remecaid (sp?) via IV in an hour or so this afternoon, which should help her to feel better, so luckily that means no surgery.
The folks at the hospital are going to refer her to a specialist (a hospital that only deals with Inflammatory Bowel Disorders), because there's really not much else they can do for her there. I can't imagine what having Crohn's must be like, but Kelly is definitely a strong person to be able to go through everything she's going through right now.
She sounded better when I spoke to her on the phone this afternoon, so that's good. It could be Wednesday or even Thursday by the time she can go home.
More healing prayers are on the way, Kelly! We love you! :)

Thank you, Karen, for the update. I just wish there were an answer for her problems that is immediate, and permanent...one can wish, I suppose! In the meantime we will pray for her.

Just spoke to Kelly -
She sounded VERY, VERY tired and was waiting on some anti-nausea medicine. She said she was still having pain but having a "pain button" helped out a lot. She expects to go home on Thursday but that all depends on how she's feeling, of course.
On the up side, they took out the tube in her nose and her CT scan showed she was healing (I think Karen or Staci already said that :o ).
She misses her furbabes and thanks everyone for their emails!
