I'm new to this group, and also to Avatars. Will an avatar be something that appears under my user name? I'd love to have something with my dogs on it, but how do I send the pics to you? Forward? Let me know. This sounds really interesting. Thanks

yep, an avatar is the thing that appears under your username. :) to post pictures, attaching them is the easiest way~ next to the "submit" button when you post there should be a "Choose file" button~ click that and It will let you choose a file off of your desktop. :)
