The pictures are soo cool! It looks like Katie and the pup are getting along so well. It is great that they have bonded so quickly. I thought you might have some trouble but it looks like not. I love those pictures of Katie standing over her.
And I thought of a new name - Brandy! Won't Brandon like that!

Diana, I know. I was so worried too. I was just telling Kay Ann a little bit ago that we do not leave them alone at all. We know that is taking a big risk. Katie could easily hurt her even if she didn't mean to. It will take some time before we are comfortable and know that all is well. Things are looking good so far though and we are doing are best to see that it stays that way. Love the name Brandy but it is our little niece's name....lol...well I guess I shouldn't say little now. she is graduating this year. Gosh where does the time go!Quote:

I totally understand!!! That was my main concern when I added Ripley to our little fur family. :) If, as they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words it would seem that you can put your worries to rest. It looks as if Katie has accepted this cutie pie as a little pack member. :) I have no name suggestions but did have to laugh when some (I forget who now) suggested Beno (bean-O) as a variation on Nebo. LOL! I do believe there is an anti-gas medicine on the market now with the same name! :o :o :D :DQuote:

Good news. We will be going to see the white coats tonite. Talked to the vet and tonite is one of his late hour nights so we will be going at 6:30. I am so relieved that she will finally be getting checked out and started on her shots. Katie will be going also she is due for her heartworm medicine. I have already talked to the nurse and I told her I was concerned about the heartworm shot and that I think I want to switch over to the chewables. She said it wouldn't be any problem since Katie is all up to date on everything. Can't wait to get them both weighed.
The bad news....No Name yet! It is driving me crazy! I have never had this problem before. We have been batting around everything you guys have thrown out plus others. I am very frustrated. Has anyone ever had this problem before?
I'll report back on the vet visit later.

Like, I plan on naming my first dog after a country singer, like Kenny Chesney, but "Chesney", or Chris Cagle, "Cagle".. and I'm DEFINITELY gonna name my future husky "Lonestar" :)
